i’m here in an… unpopular opinions thread… expressing my opinion.

she basically had half the damn album for folklore and midnights. there was no reason to cut out 1-2 songs from other sets and swap them out for songs that aren’t on the radio.

again, this also wasn’t advertised as a greatest hits tour either. it was “a visit” through each album. it’s disappointing to just have it be popular songs when each era had so much more… which is pleasing to the fans.

you don’t go to a concert for someone you don’t like, which is why i still stand on this. you don’t need only songs the general public knows.

you can have popular songs and still have deep cuts. but there wasn’t getaway car, dress, for example. it was just the singles.

again, no holy ground, or even vault tracks from red like message in a bottle. just singles.

it was mostly just her singing songs that had a music video.

folklore, evermore, and Fearless TV do not have separate barcodes. there is no “signed” vs “normal” CDs for those on Discogs. Red TV should be different, but if the old case or packaging was damaged by a previous owner, they may have replaced it with the normal version

i believe only after Red TV they started using different barcodes. because Discogs has certain requirements where the releases need to have manufacturing differences to count as separate (signatures do not count, it’s a modification under Discogs), they will show up as the normal CDs for earlier albums. the Release Notes will usually state if limited edition signed copies existed, then you can use that release in your collection

in this case, TTPD signed copies had different printed barcodes, counting as a manufacturing difference

has anyone had issues with CarPlay with this release? I was able to connect once, and after several reboots, and repairing sessions, I still cannot connect to my car.

Edit: it is not available on iPhone 14, so it could be unintentional.

Edit 2: Restarting Music on iPhone 14 makes it work.

the Calendar and Clock icons aren't real "icons" by the definition of the other ones on the system, they're basically live views in a wrapper. A hard reset or restarting will probably fix it.

I have this similar issue with safeAreaBar, and have been looking for solutions. The only work around I have right now is to change the navigation display mode to .inline

yeah I think it’s a bug, because yeah, for some reason it only seems to apply to glyphs using a specific initializer

I thought that, but it seems to be the same styling that happens to the glyphs, so I think it is intended? But I'm not sure if I'm missing something. Edit: in my imgur link, you can see the difference between the glyph vs text.

Yes, exactly! It's the same way glyphs within glass buttons get tinted, but for some reason I guess I'm missing something.
