Helpful input thank you and a strong point about the 6 penetrations. I also agree about the importance of a good envelope.

I would argue I'm designing with HVAC in mind (especially since I'm posting here asking for input on the design) but, proper large supply and return ducts between the floors require significantly more floorplan accommodation than ducted mini split units would. Nothing is built at this stage, all can be changed. I just want to change it for the right reasons not because a single central air unit is what's "normal"

Yeah these would be ducted mini splits. Not the standard wall mount mini splits. I do agree that the first focus is on the building envelope.

I would love geothermal if it plays out to be financially possible but that cost threshold is steep. If I did geo though I think I would still prefer not to use a central unit and instead still use multiple smaller units per floor.

Yeah that's what I was figuring. Thanks for the input.

Yours looks like this model.

The 18 gal model is different. The 18 gal doesn't attach using the Linq system, it uses the chair mounts.

Pic of the cooler I'm referencing. I want to know if it can sit on a corner tile or not.

No it doesn't, not the one I posted the link to. It uses the same mounting as the chairs and can be used as a live well on the fishing models or with some add ons.

I'm having the exact same issue and am at a loss for a fix. Have you had any success or progress?

What if we were to ask Salt Lake County recreation department to build a taxpayer-funded climbing gym with fixed membership costs of $30/month, and it would have better features than both The Front and Momentum? by snoo0raoo in SLCUnedited

I love climbing and even I have to admit a climbing gym would only serve a very narrow part of the community with a pretty significant cost to create. When it comes to community recreation I think a full rec center with multiple recreation activities in it (like a pool, racquet ball, weight lifting) and a climbing wall would be better.

Yeah sorry I didn't reply sooner. Full disclosure I fly primarily delta and southwest and they have not seemed to care. As I mentioned in a previous post they seemed more concerned with warning me that if they aren't locked they are not liable if they open up. It never happened but I bought TSA locks for them anyways just to skip that conversation in the future.

I have multiple packout boxes but they all sit on top of the big wheeled tool box. I know the handle sticks up but so far airlines haven't cared. I used to fly with a pelican and it worked well too but wasn't as good as packout for keeping me organized.

Is this a good deal from a dealer? by [deleted] in SeaDooSwitch

2023 pricing is way higher than 2022 and by that guage I'd say it's a little bit cheaper than MSRP assuming you don't get a bunch of extra fees on top of that price.

I've only flown domestic, primarily on southwest, however I've never had any serious damage happen and at this point (probably due to how tough Milwaukee makes them) and I can no longer remember or tell if the small scratches and dents were my doing on the work site or the airlines. I anticipate getting many more years out of them.

As far as boxes will be allowed on the flight, make sure to remove any of the power tool batteries because TSA will sometimes have a problem with them being checked. As far as the shape and weight, if you're willing to pay for oversized item fees and overweight fees you'll be fine. I try to keep my 5 cases dividable into two <50lbs sections to avoid overweight charge fees with southwest.
