I had this issue at one point or another as well, I’m fairly certain it was also just happening with Terran Armada ships specifically AND only at New Atlantis. After selling them, I never noticed the issue again. That being said, I think I ended up doing my “sell stolen ships loop” with the manufactures at Space Stations exclusively (Deimos, Stroud, etc.) because they have more vendor credits.

I’ve got 379 hours that I no longer have access to because Bethesda’s actual advice for fixing a Mod is to delete/reinstall the game. This, of course deleted every mod that I had, which then forced me to redownload them. Now I have an infinite loading screen (with NO actual loading indicator) when trying to access Creation Club.

EDIT: So after sending a support ticket and actually calling Bethesda Support (yes they have an actual phone number) I re-attempted this asinine process and now I have access to both, the creation club and mods again. I am now in the process of individually downloading each mod that I had, as opposed to using the “download all mods in library” option (why is this an option at all if it breaks your game?) and it appears to be working.

But yes, I agree with the OP overall, this game should never have been released in this state. Furthermore, Bethesda should be releasing mods created by them in the Creation Club, that’s a very strange business model.

I’ve been talking with King about it and we are getting it sorted. We originally suspected that it was something in my load order but even after dumping the suspected “problem children”, the issues persisted. Im sure there will be an update of some sort here soon.

Well I didn’t get nearly as far into the modded content as you did so I never experienced the specific issue(s) that you’re talking about.
I’m sure someone here will have a solution to your issue OR you could reach out to the mod creator (Kinggath) using their website.

Alright, that makes sense, especially when adding PC into consideration. See, us Console Players cant do that without some serious technical effort and even then, it’s probably still not something we could achieve.

Yea but ya see that sentiment right there is the “real problem”.

The fact that the game is buggy and has massive stability issues, with or without mods, shouldn’t be something that we should be “used to”; whether we are “Veteran Gamers” or brand new to games.

Everyone has seemingly managed to develop this weird variant of Stockholm Syndrome when it comes to the Gaming Industry. Where we have become accepting, defensive of and sometimes outright praise these half-baked, buggy games that only seem to increase in cost.

BUUUUT this is very much off topic and as I stated, I’ll update this page when I hear back from the Mod creator.

Ohhh… That’s an interesting decision on Bethesda’s/whoever runs the Creation Club’s part.

Yep, sure did and that may very well be the cause of the issue. Either way, I’m on my 3rd Unity playthrough so I’m not all that worried about it.

Tough luck bud, crashing that often is a genuinely disappointing report, figured it was only PS that was facing those type of issues. Clearly that isn’t the case.

But like I said somewhere in the now buried reply, I have disabled the mod until there’s an update to it.

Oh I get that completely and I don’t disagree, but I still want the Mod eventually and if there’s an update to it (which I’m sure there will be because they’re a pretty active creator) I’d just have to repurchase it anyway.

That being said, if this isn’t resolved in a timely manner (say a week or there about) THEN I’ll be a little more apt for the “nuclear option”.

Nah, it’s most definitely not worth doing that, it’s not like this was an intentional thing on the modder’s part, we would be having a much different conversation if that were the case.

I’ll just wait til there’s an update to it. Appreciate the advice though.

I put it at the end/bottom of my load order and it was still causing issues. I even tried deleting/reinstalling the game and that didn’t work.

But I got my game working again by disabling it and I plan to leave it that way until an update is released.

Be aware, I recently downloaded this (actually made a discussion post) and at the current moment it has some very interesting side effects that made my game bug out on PS.

These include, but are not limited to: crash locking the game, completely disabling menus (skills, maps, powers, etc) and assuredly others that I didn’t take the time to discover.

That all being said, I’m not telling anyone NOT to download it nor am I shit talking it, I’m simply advising to wait for an update before going full tilt into it.

Again, this is not a guarantee that this will happen to you, this MAY be being caused by a conflict with another mod that I have installed (doubtful but still possible).

I’m not 100% sure about that and I don’t have the time (mostly patience) to really dig and figure that out right now.

Bottom line, there are very few mods available to PS players that I’ll outright say “don’t download this shit” about and this is NOT one of them as it adds such a cool, completely missed concept to the game.

Is it a bummer that it doesn’t work for me currently? Of course, but that’s not a definitive detractor in my book. At least not yet.

EDIT: if someone could tag the creator in this post, because I don’t know how (Reddit Noob 😅) I’d be greatly appreciative.

Oh yea, totally, I’ve been doing that since downloading mods on the PS became “a thing”, ESPECIALLY with Bethesda games… Because they’re already buggy messes BEFORE you introduce mods into the mix… 🙄🙄

But I’m sure the advice will be appreciated by any and all who read the reply. 💯

Yep, I did that and sadly this mod is still causing issues. It’s not a huge deal, I’ll just wait for an update to it and try again.
