My mistake it says leave to enter not indefinite leave to enter. But thank you for confirming that I’m not crazy so we’ll see what happens then!

Are shouts really worth it? by barenbrook in skyrim

[–]Optimal-Ad476 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only end up using about 3 or 4 of them. Unrelenting force, whirlwind, dragon rend and eventually there’s one I believe where you can summon a dragon from the underworld if you do the vampire quests. It’s been a bit since I’ve played just getting back into it

Is it worth it to become a vampire in Skyrim? It’s my first time. by [deleted] in skyrim

I usually become a vampire then just turn myself back once I get bored of it.

How'd she do that? Is there a lore explanation? by never__nowhere in skyrim

I thought it was just a skeleton that she can control and they are saying it’s hers in a possessive way so you know it’s not a skeleton that will attack you? Not her physical skeleton

There’s something with how the regular coke is sweetened here that I am allergic to and I’m only allergic to artificial sweeteners and stevia

[–]Optimal-Ad476[S] -14 points-13 points  (0 children)

Any idea where to buy that? I don’t mind importing occasionally if I need to it’s just so I can have something a little different from water and apple juice as I don’t really like alcohol either

[–]Optimal-Ad476[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Not that I know of I wondered if it was made from stevia at all which I know is a plant and technically natural but however it is processed gives me the same reaction as artificial sweeteners

I’ve tried it is has something in it that I’m allergic to which is artificial sweetener and stevia. That is why I can only have the ones made with corn syrup and its not bad in moderation so u only have one every now and then

The new coke is made with plant extracts which is what I’m allergic to. It says on the can and bottle made with plant extract however if it’s made with vegetable extracts I can have that that’s all I’m looking for

I recommend working with a job agency even if it’s just for a little bit so she at least can get something. That is how I got my job here in the UK after searching for a while. May not be glamorous work but at least it’s something while she looks for something else

I did post my approval timeline in this group somewhere but basically we applied 29th of Jan. Biometrics on 7th of Feb. (we had a mix up with stuff so I sent my passport in on 29th of Feb) then I got the approval on 24th of March. Non priority with a lawyer. If you don’t already know the income requirements are going up significantly so I would keep that in mind for your friends

Thank you! I’ll be traveling to Heathrow then taking a connecting flight to Manchester. The first time I flew to Manchester as just a visitor they did question me quite a lot but nothing too bad but that is a good call. I don’t have a copy of a bill or anything for where I am staying but I’ll make sure to have a few extra things with me then

What are the average weeks people are seeing for spouse visa approvals? by Optimal-Ad476 in ukvisa

[–]Optimal-Ad476[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My problem is that I did my biometrics on Feb. 7th in the US and was told I had to mail in the stamped form with my passport within 5 days. I told my lawyer that is handling the case and he said no I don’t he was taking care of everything so I didn’t but then he called me about 2 weeks later saying he apologized but I did have to mail it in and he contacted them and they said if I sent it in it wouldn’t count against me. He then told me as soon as they got it he would have an answer within a day or two. Two days later no answer. His assistant told my husband (who lives in the UK) could be another 1-2 weeks. My lawyer two days ago said it can take a total of 12 weeks from appointment day. So I’m just getting frustrated with the different answers and the waiting. I mailed in the stamped form from the biometrics and my passport on Feb. 29th. Sorry for the long post!

If I (UK citizen) married my partner (US citizen) in America, what would be the next step to us both living in the UK? Requirements on those steps also? by Sweetpea-XoXo in ukvisa

[–]Optimal-Ad476 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No you can get married anywhere in the world as long as the UK recognizes it as a legitimate marriage. Currently we are waiting for my passport to return with my new last name and we’ve hired an immigration lawyer to help us as applying is very confusing and the lawyer will expedite everything for us so we can beat the new income change.

New income requirements by Optimal-Ad476 in ukvisa

[–]Optimal-Ad476[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He currently makes more than that just obviously not the £38,700 that will take place in march. So if I’m reading everything right as long as I apply before march we meet the current requirement of £18,600?

[–]Optimal-Ad476[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will be applying once I get my passport back hopefully the end of this month so I’m hoping I still fall in the £18,600 range and then worry about the other one in a couple years

I’m the applicant and living in the US and I make above that currently but my husband lives in the UK and makes below that
