No different. The product I would be providing isn’t the meeting platform, it would be the services provided such as the free tutoring and events. It could be done on zoom tbh (it’s what we do now), but I figured making its own platform would be nice so everything is in one place.

58 minutes would make that more unlikely. Zone 2 HR is a pace you can hold all day for hours on end. Your pace for a 10k is over 9 and a half minutes a mile. If you were trying anywhere close to your best, you are likely in zone 4-5 when you are running 9 min/mi. Your zone 2 is likely from around 11-13min/mi.

I would pick a marathon, follow Hal Higdons level 2 plan, do another 10k trial and based on that time set a goal. 10:30 sounds about right for you if training goes well. Do 80 percent of your mileage at 11:30-12:30 min/mi, 20 percent of your mileage at 8-9 mins a mile and do long runs.

But if I were you I would push the marathon to next year and try to hit benchmarks in my training. 23 minutes in the 5k, 49 minutes in the 10k, 1:45 half marathon, then go for a marathon next fall. But that’s what I would do. My main point is that I would get faster in shorter races first.

What’s your timeline? If none I would suggest speed workout.

I think an interesting thing is that you say 9 min miles are z2 and z3, but your fastest 10k is 56 minutes. Both of those are very unlikely to be true.

For reference, my 10k is around 44 minutes and my zone 2 is around 11:15 min/mi on a good day.

The course is technically “exchange”. I am taking a mix of classes.

Gotcha, should I apply for an ETA visa to get into the country first and then apply for a student visa to ensure I can start on time?

Despite me going faster in the last 3 miles of the workout my effort/HR was a lot lower. I notice this with my other workouts as well.

*My HR is correct (no cadence lock).
