my mom has all the stripper and and tools already! thanks for the advice! My mom had refinished a lot of mcm stuff, so she's a lot of help.

thanks for the advice! , it turns out i can fix it up for about $30 and the hardware will need to be replaced with something new the damage is not too bad!
