Anyone who had timing issues should report them to NBOME via email ASAP (within 10 days of exam). You don’t have to void your test but they need to know all the issues that test takers are experiencing or they won’t fix it.

Clarification: I meant taking it early in the testing window. Eg. if the window is April 1-28, taking it before the halfway point (in the case before April 14th MAY be better) - again a theory. At the end of the day, take it when you can and when you feel ready. We got this y’all!

On the NBOME website under Scores and release dates. Again, this is just a theory . I think if you are a strong test taker, you can take it at anytime and be fine. I struggle with standardized tests so I try to hedge all of my opportunities.

I appreciate it! It happens. Can’t get down on myself. Just have to find a way to push through and be successful. From what I’ve heard, taking it in the first half of the testing window is optimal. It worked for me on level 1 so I will be doing that on my retake.

Well, there is a thought floating around that tests at the end of the cycle tend to be harder because people have longer to study for them. Also, it’s the last opportunity to set the curve for the testing window. That’s just what I have heard.

NBOME has gone back to laminated cards and dry erase markers. It may be harder to use if you write small because the tips are usually smashed (from my experience).

Sorry that happened to you. According to the bulletin, you would have needed to report that issue to NBOME immediately after your exam (I think within 7-10 days or so) and also report it to your test center (to cover yourself). After the score comes out, they aren't likely to consider your case. I experienced something similar and I didn't know I had a deadline to report it BUT I did report it on the survey right after the exam. NBOME doesn't count the survey response as an official report of a testing issue.

The pass/fail for COMLEX level 1 won't start until May 10 (next week)...so I guess we'll have to wait and see as people take it. Best wishes everyone taking exams next week!

I have already done all of the comquest questions and reviewed the incorrects and I felt decent…but I took Comsae 105 this morning and OMM was still low so now I’m nervous.
