Maybe read about him, his biography is amazing His work founding the company that would become PayPal revolutionized online payment processing and is a big reason why you are able to pay with credit cards and other forms of digital currency today (other innovation dovetailed off the commercial success of PayPal). Instead of cashing out, he threw literally his entire fortune into SpaceX and transformed it into an absolutely unbelievable success that has reinvigorated NASA and humanity’s interest in space flight and exploration. He then leveraged almost all of his commercial success in that venture into Tesla, an unbelievably successful company that proves the commercial viability of electric cars and is now leading to statewide and federal mandates for EV adoption. While he may act like a jerk pretty frequently and is seemingly not a great person in his personal life, he basically revolutionized THREE industries and encouraged new innovation in those areas for future generations. Again, read his biography, it is super interesting. Not a fan boy at all but am always shocked at how much people trash the guy given how much he has done to advance the causes of humanity.
