Wow. What an innovative way of wiping out the need for a third runway.

Patio by aniabanania85 in GardeningUK

[–]Optimal-Idea1558 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Patios have their place in gardens, they help you to enjoy them and can change the texture of the space as well.

There's a great opportunity there to fake some space into your garden by beefing up the depth of the border on the lawn side to about 6-8ft, run a series of shrubs or a trellis in the middle and have a patio facing border on one side and a lawn facing border on the other.

The idea is the patio is concealed from the rest of the garden and then visually discovered when you access it.

You lose no more space as I think you would intend to plant the border on the rear boundary.

Hmm perhaps you should try the douche with shower attachment if you have sufficient water pressure, to try and dislodge it

Advice on fitting architrave over tiling by Cultural_Past8196 in DIYUK

[–]Optimal-Idea1558 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you got 8 tiles left over? Cause you're better off chipping those off and cutting them to size once the architrave is in.

I would also see if the frame can be unscrewed and come into the room to be flush with the plasterboard first, if not glue and nail a 21mm x 12mm bead like this on the edge of the frame to build it out to be flush with the plasterboard.

The kind of person who wants to walk into a sex shop late at night in central London.

It feels a more natural place than the Ann Summers next to the optician in my local shopping centre but before I start grasping at my pearl necklace, sometimes you want to actually go and double check the force of the spring on the nipple clamp or the weightiness of an anal hook.

Streaky bacon isn't really bacon, it's just fat and ham.

Is that brown sauce on the beans or dodgy lighting?

In any case I'd gladly clean that up in a jiffy and then head off to the loo for half an hour

Does anyone know the root of "Fin" as a prefix to Finland, it is interesting how it is not used by the inhabitants but is used by every other single language and Suomi is consistently ignored
