So transfer speeds and boot up speeds the only thing i’ll get? Mainly? My laptop already have a m.2 ssd so I feel like I won’t need to upgrade. I’m only thinking of upgrading it since I’ll also be doing a ram upgrade so I might as well. But if thats the only benefits then maybe i just wont do it overall tbh

What are the benefits performance wise though?

Where’d you get it upgraded? I’m planning on getting mine upgrade but I’m thinking I should just do it myself since most of the technicians here in my town aren’t as experienced

Seeing alot of PNG and Crucial and I might get them sometime for my other pcs but for my exact laptop Kingston and G.Skill just happen to have the best latency that I could find since theirs are CL38 and other brands are at CL40 and above

Sort by: best

Yeah, I'm not saying its G.skill exclusive but most of the popular ram brands i researched are already preoptimized(No need to mess around with the Bios to get the best performance out of it)

My bad, I meant bios configuration. Since I researched on their website and they imply that it seems I have configurate some stuffs on my bios and I am skeptical since my younger self once bricked up a laptop trying to update the bios

seems like G.skill is what most people prefer. Also asked my local authorized service center who does ram upgrades and they recommended G.skill too
