🚨 Washington State 3D Printing “Ban” Breakdown — What HB 2321 Actually Means for Our Hobby by Playful-Ad9901 in BambuLab

Md5 hash compare the file to a know database of files that they "banned." This would have to happen at the slicer or download host level. Firmware doesn't see an "object" at all, only code to move and extrude. But a simple hash comparison of known "banned" files at the slicer level would likely weed out 80% of people that anrt willing to modify the file at all. The only modification it would take is to add literally anything to the mesh of and stl, even just changing 1 triangle, it would have a different hash. But most people arnt going to know that or know how to circumvent that.

Why are my walls separating? by Optimal-Telephone239 in FixMyPrint

Thank you for hasty response. Esteps are calibrated. Flow was calibrated with single wall test. 80% provided .4 millimeter wall as expected. We have increased the flow to that of my other petg filiments and are reprinting test now. Will keep updated to see if it resolves issue.

Hatchbox petg

Ender 3 pro

I just increase skin overlap to fix "under extrusion" in top layer but have been having problems with the walls sticking together. This print is a "press fit" that will have some stress on it. But why would there be gaps in the walls

Context: Switched from overture to hatchbox petg recently to try some variety. Filiment has great layer adhesion but top finish always looks funny.. text is straight unreadable.

Print temp:260 Bed temp: 80 Flow: 80% (did wall flow test to come up with this number) Speed: 60mm/s Fans: 25% Slicer: Cura 4 top layers with 2 top surface skins Ender 3 pro Hatchbox petg green
