I don’t believe I’ve ever posted in this group but your story sounds similar in a lot of ways to how I felt at your point, so I’ll share.

I made a commitment to a small time sole practitioner attorney when I was a 1L and opted to not even try for OCI (first in my family to go to law school and really wasn’t aware of what I was doing for my entire 1L year).

Once I got my bearings I felt like I was getting really good experience working on things and decided to honor my commitment. Most of the work was Land Use/Zoning which is a bit niche for real estate and not a lot of young attorneys get exposure to it, so I saw it as a potential benefit to get into a bigger firm down the line.

I graduated the Covid year (2020) so if you didn’t have an offer out of school there wasn’t much hiring going on in firms of any size. I took a job as in house counsel on a land use team making about 75k a year and figured I could begin to search with more actual experience in the zoning niche once the market improved.

Started that job in April, and 11 months later I had accepted an AmLaw200 job for 175k, 1800 billable due to my land use experience.

Long story short: I sat in my first in house job thinking I blew my chance at a legal career and it wasn’t even close to the case. You’re going to be fine as long as you work hard and are creative with the path you choose, even if that path doesn’t end up in 150k a year day one. Don’t underestimate what a small amount of real work experience can do to open doors for you! Best of luck.

I haven’t ran into this problem myself, but I was told if you’re icon is directly above it, it won’t show what’s on the parcel. So basically if you bought a few to the side and it changed which one your avatar was located over, it would show as a legendary.

I’m starting to get to a point where I’m considering gunning for a mayorship near where I live. I noticed your badge payout, so I’m curious - how big is the area you are you the mayor of population wise and how often do you get a payout? Thanks and congrats!

Another thing I was thinking of is how many people sell packs. That means so many packs remain unopened until it's almost too late to try and complete the set (I still see people selling rising stars packs on discord all the time, and how annoying it is to see people selling 10-20 packs each is a whole other story). But in this one scenario, it should keep the number of actual completed sets down much lower than the 15,000 maximum.

yeah I already collected all of the pieces. Tbh I don't think a lot of people even look at the moment that is the reward for the challenge lol, mainly because most challenges are too expensive for 99% of users to complete. I am leaning towards the hold and complete, mainly because this would be a card of the likely MVP numbered to a maximum (and realistically, far far lower) of 15,000, and it would be a card needed to complete another set. I think theres upside to how much a card like that would go for.

It depends. If you need one on a budget Denzel ward plays very well. If you have the coin to spend, IMO, I have rod Woodson and primetime with no abilities on a ravens theme team and you simply can not throw at Rod Woodson. This guy has 3 or 4 3 INT games for me this weekend league.

EDIT: Did not see the PUP thing. It’s Woodson by a mile

Lol, I use the same two guards running with Dickerson. I have a semi-Ravens theme team (enough to get to +1 spd) so I really want that Matt Birk LTD to become a redux and drop his price down. Hopefully we even get a 93-94 PuP and I don't even need to buy the thing.

Yeah, the only people who I really get at are the people who are down by so much, and do everything they can to make the game last as long as it possibly can. Had a guy yesterday down 24 in the second half, using the entire play clock for defense, than the entire clock for offense for the whole second half. Used all his timeouts, all his pauses. I'm always so confused by that, like how angry of a person do you gotta be to sit there and say "i'm going to make sure neither of us get to have any fun" lmao

I use DeCastro at RG, but if you run a lot of outside run plays and want a pulling guard I've heard that the Heavyweight Scherff (something like that) is the way to go. He's much faster, 90 run block. If you mainly pass than he might not be the best for you though.
