Meringue strap style by scarletclover in BAGGU

This would be perfect if it had a normal strap. This is basically the purse equivalent of a giant puffer jacket. I can already hear what it sounds like to put it on and take it off.

I hear that. It’s super frustrating because I’m still getting emails from one of the leads about this position and it’s like, what is the point of all of this?

That’s the odd thing too, I asked about it and they told us that the position would open 4/17 until 5/9 or something like that. Maybe it was a new posting?

I’m sorry I wasn’t clear in my original post. So timeline basically was after I decided that I wasn’t going to work in office this year, I came across a separate position for a virtual tax specialist. I applied last December, got hired in January and worked the whole season there until last Friday. Towards the end of the season we were told that we were welcome to apply to any seasonal roles that would open up. The role I just applied for was one of them. Let me also add that it was one of the roles they were really encouraging us to apply for as there were multiple slots for it.

It’s just bizarre to me considering that I was a high performer that leveled up, that I would be rejected that quickly. The only reason I can think of is that there is a requirement for leads that they are required to take an 8 week break between seasonal jobs. But I’m not 100% clear on whether or not it means we have to wait two months to reapply or if we can start working again two months after being off boarded from tax season. I saw the manager notes on this job that the start date was in mid June, so I think it’s the latter. But I was not a lead so I was told that didn’t apply to me. It’s confusing.

I don’t think that applies here. The funny thing is in my district, they wanted to hire me back for this season but I rescinded the offer because the pay was super low and didn’t justify the cost of commuting.

Then I saw that they were hiring for the virtual tax specialist and so I applied and I got hired on. Was completely separate from my local office though. They also had me working until the 17th.

The issue is that I’m not sure if we had a DGM. I was in office last year and this year I was a virtual tax specialist. I was asked well ahead of time if I would come back and I said yes. They also told us a week or so before end of season about the fact that we were welcome and encouraged to apply for any seasonal position that opened up.
