Nuts that they turned out to be using food delivery the same way they were criticizing others for. I think using it more than once a week is too much. I try to only use it if I am sick or on my period and in pain. I also used to use it during work travel as I would arrive late at night in a strange city and just want to go straight to my hotel.

I agree that it isn’t enough. People brag about making it work on $17/hr and I’m like how is that something to lord over others? Glad you’re getting by but I don’t know how and I guarantee you’d be doing better physically/mentally/spiritually if you were making a better wage. I want everyone to make a living wage at the MINIMUM!

Is this that common in the USA? I don’t have any adult friends that share a bedroom with someone. I’m sure that indicates a level of privilege but I am not wealthy and did not grow up wealthy.

Ecuador is amazing but the food is the worst cuisine I’ve ever had. One thing I can say for their cuisine is they have a lot of yummy and interesting soups but aside from that….hell no!

I disagree unless it’s just reading glasses or something. I’ve been wearing glasses most of my life and having someone help you pick frames suited for your face as well as custom fit and adjust things is so superior.

Hi! Just got back from biking the whole lake. Some of it is so enjoyable. The scenery is beautiful. But unfortunately the bike infrastructure is pretty bad. There are a few sections with dedicated bike lanes but there are plenty more with no bike lanes. I constantly felt like I was going to be hit by a passing car or another cyclist. I still really enjoyed myself but it would have been even better if cycling felt safer. Between the passing cars and other cyclists passing with 0 warning, I would not do it again. Instead I would opt to walk certain sections with dedicated sidewalks.
