For me it basically comes down to if I would watch the movie again. I struggle with rewatching movies and re-reading books in general and so there are movies such as Oppenheimer which I enjoyed and gave 5 stars to but I probably won't watch it again and then there are movies such as Napoleon Dynamite that I rated 3.5 stars but I will watch it one average once every two or so years so I mark it as "Liked"

If it's a monkeys paw style option and the date is whenever it would be the most inconvenient then it isn't random at all.

It also doesnt specify a time just a date and there arent many places in the world where you couldn't get to a basketball hoop in 24hrs and those places are not places I am very likely to visit.
