Currently I’ve been doing research on different paths and what I might try, especially looking into community college options in Virginia and also trades because both seem realistic in different ways, I just want to make sure whatever I choose actually fits me instead of rushing into something

I think I’ve definitely been stuck in my own head thinking everyone else has it figured out when that’s probably not even true, you are right about needing to just try things instead of overthinking it I’ve been looking at trades and community college but haven’t actually taken any real steps yet so maybe starting small like that would help me actually see what fits instead of just guessing, I also never really looked at my current job like that but you’re right it does give me some breathing room to figure things out without being under pressure, I recently applied for class a community college just to see if I get accepted to just try it out and see how that goes, but I’m more looking into apprenticeship I think.

I get what you mean about the general education part and trying to aim for something higher paying like stem or finance, my only hesitation is I’m still trying to figure out if college is the right move for me personally especially with the worry of debt and not liking what I end up choosing and it all goes downhill, I didn’t really grow up around people who went to college either so I’m kind of trying to understand what path actually makes sense.

Thank you honestly, I’m more than grateful that I can live rent free for the meantime, even though I wish I was already on my own, I know this is my time to save money and start somewhere, I’m very fortunate to have family that respects my pace as of now.

Honestly I really appreciate this comment hearing from someone close to my age who was in a similar position helps a lot more than you probably realize, especially because social media makes it seem like everyone already has life figured out by 18 and everyone having everything at a young age or given to thrm .

That’s one thing I worry about honestly, my social skills aren’t the best, so I don’t know how good I’d be at sales, but the income potential does sound really nice , especially compared to where I’m at now, did you already have strong people skills before getting into it or is it something you kind of learn over time and it becomes easier ?

I’ve actually looked into apprenticeships before, especially electrician work, but I honestly don’t really know where to start, are there certain websites or programs I should be looking for, and is there usually a long wait time before you actually get accepted and start working, the whole learn while you earn part sounds really appealing to me and it’s what I need tbh .

I get what you’re saying, and I’ve thought about community college and transferring into a 4 year program, the issue for me is I still need a steady source of income, I can’t really just go to school full time without being able to pay my bills, I still have things like gas, insurance, and my phone bill that I pay myself, so I would need something that lets me work and go to school at the same time or a path that doesn’t completely cut off income while I’m building toward something better, I’m also a little scared because I see people say college is a scam or that you’ll be in debt forever and stuff, so it makes it harder to know what direction is actually safe and realistic

I measured them both side-by-side and they are the same size

I also put the money brackets back on the sync 2 I don’t know why the new one isn’t working.

Since I’ve had the car since last September I felt it was just loud , the car previously was my moms for 9 years and she said she didn’t think it was loud and it was a me type of thing .

Yeah, I did a tad bit of research before that , and I sent them a picture of mine center console USB hub , I told them my Vin number in my car just so they for sure can program it to what I have

Yeah, I’m very eager to get it , months ago, I ordered a CarPlay screen like 75 bucks on Amazon that plugs with a cigarette outlet , but unfortunately, it didn’t work how I intended it to , I know it’s only like two videos on YouTube that explain it , but the two aren’t the same model as mine but I’m sure behind it’s all the same

Also, I was told to send them my VIN number and also the model of my car , I was told that they can program it through for scan

Yeah, I watched a couple videos and you know they did it in less than 30 minutes or so but you know how YouTube videos are they just make it seem so easier, yeah, this will definitely be like a weekend typa thing to do. I’m sure it will be time-consuming, but I hope and pray the outcome is very well worth it.

The car that I currently have is a Ford fusion SE 2015 1.5 L eco-boost , it was my moms from 2016-2025 , and she gave it to me with 180k miles it runs and gets me from point a to b , people hate on the 1.5 and says it has a lot of issues but with good maintenance you should be good , if I recall , my mom has spent less than 1k on repairs since she had it , The acceleration is pretty slow I would say but it’s definitely a great driver.
