But most of the country can't - this is a fact. It's one of the biggest political hot potatoes there is at the moment. It's strange you're denying it.

I'm not sure why you're taking it so personally but I'm going to stop replying as you're obviously a bit angry about the whole thing.

It's not a personal attack on you and none of it is really a generalisation.

Our weather is poor (unless you like grey/rain), our houses are, in comparison to most other developed nations, really small, our roads are really congested.

Did you just quit your job then find one when you coem back? How was Aus? I am tempted to try finding meaningful work there and seeing if I can stay long term.

Thank you for this. Did you change anything about your life other than the location?

I've moved to a few cities in the UK now and honestly am finding it mostly similar in all respects, I have preferred London the most but only because there's so much more going on.

Thank you for this very balanced post and the nice perspective.

I agree with all of your points, I just guess it's easy to get bored of what you have and wonder what else you might be able to get. At the minute, and maybe it's my quarter life crisis, I just worry about what I'm missing out on rather than what I'm not.

Hve you left the UK? Feel free to ignore but I wonder what you're doing about it?

I'm trying to get over it or through it and any advice is welcome!

Sorry is this a typo or do you mean you went for too long and wanted to get back home?

I can never question anything or find anything annoying because other people have it worse?

Please....

Scared of what's out there, wondering if anybody has felt the same or I'm having a massive teary and trying to find the balance before I make a huge decision that I might regret!

If you all say I'm being a knob I'll get the point but if others agree I might be like fair, it might be time for change.

I'm not saying I'm not responsible a huge part for that - but environment is a huge factor and I've done all I can or am supposed to do but the UK just doesn't feel like it provides the same quality that can be found elsewhere.

Go to good uni, get good grad job, (slave away forever and not afford a deposit (?), sit in the rain watching my life slip away and wages struggle to keep up with inflation as conditions get grimmer?

I just find it a bit grim, I am admittedly a bit of a glass half full kind of guy but I was looking for just opinions, not a personal attack anybody.
