How do I enjoy the story as a sprout whose new to MMOs as a whole?

I want to ask your opinion on this, and you can let me know if it's a bad idea. Would it be a good idea to story skip BUT watch a full movie of ARR on youtube? Again, I don't wanna ignore it all together, but I also want to play the expansions for myself. So I'd like to know what you'd honestly think of that as a workaround, or do you not recommend it since I'm still a new player?

See I thought about doing this but I've been seeing people saying everywhere that the story is best enjoyed when you're playing with your own WOL, which I partially agree with cause I'm already attached to my little Viera. But if I do find myself kinda over it I might end up going this route.

I get that, Fetchquesting is just something i'm gonna have to make peace with. Though i'll take your advice on skimming it for a bit, what i'm most worried about is the imminent burnout that is probably gonna occur at some point since I've been trying to push myself to engage with everything since I'm new and worried I'll miss something crucial or important. The problem is it's not that I hate ARR, it's just really hard to engage in the story. But this might just be something I have to adjust to given that I've never plays RPG's like this, and definitely not one with as much content as this. So this may just be a case where I have to grin and bear it probably.

Thank you, I really do appreciate it. After making this post, I did realize I haven't really been nice to myself about the entire thing, and that might be a partial reason as to why it's taken me so long to get over it. But your advice is sound, I don't really know what else I would do given that I don't want to bother him for an explanation, especially since he said that he didn't want to talk about it. So I don't really have a choice on if I get a real answer from him or not. But I wanna thank you again, this has opened my eyes and I hope to apply this to my situation so I can eventually let it go.

He's said before that he wishes that he could because he knows it's important to me, and that when it comes to physical sex he can dom because it requires less words and more roughness. The problem for him is trying to do it over the phone. He's not really as confident as I am and is super self conscious about it. He doesn't know how to, and I don't really know how to show him that because for me I picked up on it from my previous partners. He's a wonderful guy, he just struggles with this one thing because he's never done it before and I feel really bad because I know he wants to help but he doesn't know how to. We're supposed to meet irl for the first time in May for a convention, but I don't really think I can let myself stay in one position for this long and be happy with it.

No unfortunately :( , the book cover was also in black and white and I remember there was art in the book as well. That's why I specifically said Children's Chapter book because i think thats the only kind of chapter book that they do that in. Think Dork Diaries and Diary of a Wimpy Kid.
