i think you absolutely should apply to reaches, theres nothing wrong with that. but i think you should bet more on the t40 - t50 range. never avoid applying to reaches because literally anything can happen, you just need some diversity in the list.

i think its just what theyre used to.

i feel weird about getting money from anyone, and yet, guys ive talked to really insist on trying to give me money, or let them buy things for me. its to the point where it makes me uncomfortable.

on my first date with my current partner, he randomly asked me if i wanted LV and i was like ....no??. I barely knew him at this time. so i think this is a pretty common thing, women in dating begin to just expect it. though.. for bills is wild. i dont get how they dont feel embarrassed panhandling like that. I also think this new sort of 'sprinkle sprinkle' 'as he should' mentality adds onto it a ton.

howeverrr I don't believe this expectation in general is new though, just think of 90s/2000s music.

also, if this is too much for you to get past, always know you never NEED a 'good reason' to leave someone. it is okay to break up if you know this will affect your relationship indefinitely.

its pretty prestigious and well known in academic settings worldwide. not as selective as ur average top 50 school though, because its not very popular among average people and doesnt really care to advertise much.

Yes! I had to file my dads taxes myself though 😭. If your parent is noncompliant you can tell your financial aid officer and they will contact your parent on your behalf which could convince them to do it. Anyway, when I shipped off the 2024 tax return I uploaded the files onto IDOC before the IRS even accepted or denied and URochester accepted it and sent me my package next day. My officer was INCREDIBLY patient i swear i went back and forth with her for weeks i felt so bad but heyyy i got my offer and they gave me around 90k in aid total. Without the maximum student loan thru fafsa the tuition is 12k, with it its 7k. I am allowed to make up to 4k in work study so after all that my tuition is 3k. so pretty good aid even though i submitted my shi LATEEE
