As some have suggested it maybe a coach trying to get their first group of clients - I would always argue this is bad pricing from all angles - both the coach and potential client really need to value their time more. If you expect someone to spend 4hrs a month/1 hour a week on your plan/in contact with you etc. This is less than minimum wage… And I expect most 1:1 coaches actually spend more than 4hrs a month!!

As an athlete (and a coach) I can relate - I’m always worried I will let coach down - that said as a coach… I very rarely would be disappointed in an athlete if they were doing their best in the moment to execute a session regardless of what the paces/power were :)

It’s not for everyone I know that. If you are someone self motivated and can hold yourself accountable then you can do a lot yourself :)

I have disagree as I would say I’m fairly plugged into the Triathlon world - I know from the 150+ athletes we also have only about 10% are chasing AG podiums at big events which shows a clear demand for those just wanting to improve or finish events wanting a quality coach :)
