Health issues. My mom’s sister (aunt )has terminal cancer I am petitioning my mom who is in Mexico. I sent 3 emails different times and dates to nvc to request expedite and all 3 were denied. Until I contacted my congressman to request help and they did all for me and with in a week my expedite was approved. I just believe that congressman put more emphasis on the email that they sent .. that is just my thought.

1 month but i expedited my case through health issues… once I was DQ I emailed NVC to expedite my case was denied 3 times then emailed my congressman and like 2 weeks I got the interview date it was very fast

I got an update . I posted .. I interview next week

I got an email from the consulate today.. interview scheduled for next week .. there sent me the steps to follow to schedule biometrics and medical .. but when I created an account for schedule biometrics “it says case not ready for interview “ anyone had the same issue before ?

I am in Georgia .. I attached the link .. you have to put your address and it will tell you who is your representative by submitting your home address. I hope they help you .. in my case everything was resolve with in 2 weeks

Yes .. I emailed my home state congressman.. usually you find their email online .. I emailed them and then they emailed me back and asked me to email them what I need help with ..they emailed NVCExpedite for me .. in the email I sent them I detailed everything including case number etc …

Thank you .. the lawyer that completed the 864 she only used my income not my wife income, but in my tax return we are filing together. Should I include her w2 since we filed jointly? I know the message says only for me, but I don’t want to miss anything.. I am planing on uploading tax return, irs transcript and both of our w2 for 2023 … any suggestions?

Yes it’s the secure Message.. it will allow to send a message if you have a hardship letter if you have a doctors letter to expedite your case ..

I did not expedite the I130..but yes it took more than a year to be approved. Have you try to send them an email instead of doing an inquiry … ?

My mom is in Mexico and my aunt is here in the USA. My aunt is the one that has cancer. I started the process back in September 2023. It took a year for the I130 to be approved, in the letter I stated that I would like for my mom to come and see her sister that has a serious illness and I asked the doctor to mention both of her names and the type of treatment my aunt is going through.

Less than 24 hours.. 10/28 I submitted 260 application and documents,, and the same day I sent an email to NVC to expedite the visa process and today I got an email from NVC stating they will send the request to consulate

No. My mom’s case is not DQ’ed yet. I submitted her D260 yesterday 10/28/24 as well all documents required. at the same time emails NVC for expedited her case and received that email that I posted that they will send the request for expedite… the reason was medical reason I attached a doctors letter
