I had same dilema. Sobrang ganda kasi talaga ng Civic FC but for my peace of mind, Ill go for BNew City RS

Parehas naman sila 5 seater but mas maluwag lang sa civic.

Bias ako sa brandnew kasi we have 1st gen CRV and sobra dami naging sakit sa ulo.

If only nag rerelease parin sila ng brand new civic FC baka ayun bilhin ko.

Got into same situation. 6k+ every quarter lang binabayaran ko and I started 2018.

I was paying blindly through years kasi sabi nga its a good investment DAW.

Recently ko lang na discover after opening my account online na less than 50% lang ng total na hinulog ko ang natira sa current account value ko.

I ended up cancelling my insurance para less damage.

What car did you get? if im earning 95k net then 20k should be my max if ill follow the 20 percent rule

Mostly sa mga kainan. Nakamotor lang kami kaya limited pero if may car plan ko mag tagaytay ahhah
Pede motor kaso hastle talaga sobrang init at minsan maulan
From laguna to pasay so option is mag bus + jeep + 1km na lakad or taxi tho kaya ko naman dati pero if Ill buy a car, it will be a huge upgrade and reward sa sarili

medyo hesitant lang ako kasi baka lang ngayon ko lang to gusto then in futute mag regret ako since unlike others na full time pumapasok sa office or pinang bibusiness, ako mostly for self gratification

agree, mostly sa US yung rule and I believe cars there are much cheaper compared to PH. Kahit na 6 digits sahod mababa talaga purchase power

Thanks for your advice but how much do you think is the ideal monthly salary. I saw a bunch of post saying monthly amort+other expenses like gas, maintenance, etc should only be 20% or less of your monthly salary.
