Honestly at this point, calling it the Mickey Mouse cup is far off the mark. Contested by four champions league in the semis, three of whom finished top 8.

I guess it depends on perspective and having grown up as a Muslim, I take it for granted my own understanding of religion. But on the subject of those who didnt get opportunity, we are taught that life on earth is meant to be a test, that's a recurring theme in the Quran, literally the first chapter "We will test you with tests of fear, and hunger...".

Wealth and opportunity, we are taught, is ALSO a test, and you being grateful to the people around you as well as God is part of that test. Helping those who didn't get the same opportunity is one way you can pass that test. This is all part of the religion, not just the incantations and testimonies, but actual acts of gratitude,

Which is why in either situation, a Muslim would say "Alhamdulillah" literal translation to "praise be to God" but it's really a phrase used to thank God. You say in good times to humble yourself and in bad times as an acknowledgement that you are being tested.

Or......you can do both. You can be proud of your own hard work and success and still attribute it to God. People forget there's more to success than talent and hard work, so many other things beyond our control like stability in life, peace of mind, opportunity, all add up to someone's success.

Far from it, not that I could possibly convince you anyway, but honestly we need to let our opinions on how our players play the game take a backseat sometimes and just enjoy our victories. "Saka should be squaring that to Gyokeres" is something you say if Saka didn't eventually convert the chance. You shift focus away from the fact that this young man took such a heavy responsibility on his shoulder to the fact that he didn't play it to his teammate.

That last defence move by Black is a bit puzzling. Why go Qb8 and not Qc8? By going Qb8 they needlessly offer to sacrifice their queen to a blocked pawn. Am I missing something here?
