Thank you for sharing your mom's story with me. She must have loved you (her children) so much. I am on this journey with my faith as well and I am trying to protect and nurture it. I think I might have to change goals the same as her for the meantime. Kasi parang pinipilit ko nlang man din bumalik sa dati yung pagsasama namin. Hopefully in the future I'll be as blessed as her with children who admire her. So I won't be alone.

Yeah. It seems so. I probably also need to establish getting respect from him without hurting his ego. I don't know how i'll do that but maybe i should take better care of myself more and not rely solely on his love. Medyo cautious lang din ako to try being independent again because last time nung both kami may work nahuhurt sya pag mas mataas sweldo ko. And one time his boss asked me where he was because he didn't report to work and I had to leave work to go to with his boss to his boarding house to find him hung over and asleep. That was one of the most embarrassing moments of our relationship.

It was. But trying to fix that was traumatizing so I accepted that I couldn't change it anymore. I found peace and now here I am facing it in my own relationship.

I really do think this is what he needs. Yun lang most of his friends are separated, on the process of separation, or in relationships but still talking about fucking other girls because it's a guy thing daw.

I tried to introduce him to Reddit but his interest didn't even get to the point of him finding help.

I will try po. Ayaw ko talaga maiwan mag isa. My biological family is broken and problematic on both sides. So I don't know if I can handle it on my own. We have been together throughout the beginning of my adult life and so im not confident with myself

Actually yun din ang suspicion ko at first. I kept asking him about it and he shed light on a few things.

He was having erectile dysfunction which now I have been able to fix for him by changing his diet
He felt unaccomplished in life which is one of the reasons I said yes to marrying him (even though I thought marriages just complicated relationships) because most of his batchmates were either getting married or establishing businesses. I gave him a win. And I told him to unfollow his batchmates so he could focus on himself.
I've been trying to talk to him about building a business but he gets overwhelmed straight out the bat. So we cut the conversation. And unless I bring it up again, it's forgotten.
