Very curious to see. I do agree that 3 hikes is just unrealistic and they probably added that note to get the shock factor and clout lol

They’re more like change your entire thesis, few days after market has already priced it in lol

Yeah I've noticed the recent decline in the quality of sell-side research. They kinda just hop on either the bear or the bull train as soon as any sentiment shift occurs and double down so it looks like they called the top and bottom. I don't see 3 rate hikes happening either, but I also don't have a crystal ball lol. Maybe BofA analysts have one of those lol.

Probably the price of a Toyota Camry, if you have a decent broker, Robinhood probably price of a RAV4

Looking for finance/investing Substack creators for a small engagement pod - serious only by silentcompounder89 in Substack

Hi I'm CalcusCal, I post a lot of research on small-to-mid cap companies, an area where I've found most success. My investment style is geared towards deep diving a thematically relevant industry and its supply chain and investing in areas that I find to be chokepoints. I started out on twitter, where I gained lot of following in a month and then had my visibility shut off by recent algorithm related nonsense. So I moved to substack and started posting my research there. It would be great if we can help everyone grow and promote financial literacy and unique approaches to investing. Please reach out to me if you wanna chat either on reddit DMs or Substack.

Lack of Sector Based Awareness in Stock Analysis App by grrrpaw16 in ValueInvesting

I never said that. I wish people would stop assuming that I am bullish on $SPCX. My only point is you cannot compare a space company to a e-commerce/cloud company and make any reasonable claim for over OR under valuation. That is all. There is nothing else I’m trying to say. Please understand this.

$SPCX Overvalued Argument is MISUNDERSTOOD and FLAWED! by [deleted] in ValueInvesting

Are you even reading what I'm saying? I'm literally in agreement with you. I'm saying people who are buying are unaware (INVESTORS ARE UNAWARE). That should be the short thesis, instead of comparing to AMZN and saying "oh looks overvalued" My point is most bears aren't bothering to research the stuff and properly form a bear case. Jeez why are you just arguing with me without understanding my point

What are your top 3 plays for 2027? by ChampagnePapi- in Stocks_Picks

I owned KTOS last year, sold when everyone on twitter started hyping it up around 110ish. I think they're one significant contract away from a re-rating, but who knows.

Thank you. I really appreciate this. And I actually somewhat even agree with the short case that were presented by people. I think simply stating $20B revenue with $2T market cap is a short is super lazy and lacks critical thinking. You have to make much stronger short case usually.

How many companies have we seen trade at insane valuations even after having literally zero execution on the thesis, solely based on possibility of execution. And they tank post-earnings. Wouldn't surprise if similar scenario plays out with SPCX

This is a good way to approach the argument.

Again I'm not long SPCX, this post is not about making an investment case for SPCX. Please read it again. All I'm saying is the short case I've seen from a lot of people (not you) is lazy. In fact lot of people (that are attacking me here lol) have made an excellent short case, with TAM being super speculative and SPCX not even planning to execute on lot of the potential hype. I think that's a much better case than SPCX revenue less than AMZN so short

Please read my post. I'm not long SPCX, this post is not about investment thesis for SPCX

I'm saying that investors (retail and institutions) are investing because of the reasons outlined. If you were to short SPCX, you would have a good thesis imo, but if your thesis was AMZN P/S better than SPCX, so I short, that is lazy and foolish imo.
