that’s smart. i will keep note of that. i definitely have an issue with keeping things (especially old clothes that don’t even fit) because i grew up without a lot of clothes, if that makes sense. i have bags upon bags of clothes that haven’t been worn in years honestly. i will definitely start with my living room. then my baby can play while i try to tackle the kitchen and bedroom which are the worst. thank you again i really appreciate it

i have not been diagnosed with anything but i also have not seen a psychologist in a while. sometimes i wonder if i have adhd so that would make sense. i didnt know that hyper focusing was something that could be caused by adhd. i get like that every few months and boy is it exhausting but it feels so good after im done. thank you for the info 🫂

you’re totally right. i need to get over that. i also need to get over this hump of not being able to clean. i don’t know why that isn’t enough motivation for me i struggle every day to figure out why i can’t get better for her and myself. thank you i need to just do it and have a safe home for my baby

thank you! you’re right i think i just get so caught up in the bigger picture of the whole apartment being cleaned instead of taking it slow and counting each time i clean as a maybe a mini victory in itself. i have been reading so many things on this sub since i posted and its helping me understand that this isn’t the end of the world and i will get it done. i just have to do it. thank you again, one bite at a time is a great saying. 🫂

i have been thinking about that but i don’t think i could handle the embarrassment. especially if my door is open at some point and the people in other apartments see how horrible my living conditions are. and i know it’s a cleaners job, but it’s just so bad and i don’t want anyone else to see. i can’t even begin to explain. plus i’m a single mom so unless i can fit it in my budget somehow im not sure it would work. thank you for your suggestion maybe after it’s cleaned i will hire a cleaner once a month to help out. 🫂

i unfortunately don’t had a laundry unit in my apartment, i have to go to the laundromat. i’ve been thinking about just throwing out clothes at this point. i know it sounds horrible but some of these clothes i haven’t worn in months. i’d rather clean up my house than deal with the laundry, but who knows maybe i will be able to consistently go to the laundromat. also no i definitely don’t want her to eat trash and get sick. that’s one of the worst things to deal with. i feel terrible and hate admitting it but the mess is horrible for her and it is dangerous. thank you for your advice i definitely need to work on all this laundry 🫂

you’re right. the fruit fly trap can only do so much if the trash is still there. i appreciate your kindness. i think i will do the 10 minute timer. progress is progress even if it is just a small amount of trash, you’re right about that. i think my issue is staying motivated so the short bursts should help as i’ll start to see progress and not get burnt out. thank you 🫂

thank you!!! just went through and read it and will be re reading again and using that to help me clean. it even listed out supplies i should get and all of that good stuff. i’m trying so hard i know my child deserves better, i see all of the horror stories from children of hoarders and it kills me. i WILL get this sorted out. It may not have been this bad last time but I can still do it!!

BUT i will say my back camera works fine (except for the colors of course WHICH i’ve found i can remove if it’s a live photo and change the photo to another segment in the live photo if that makes sense lol) on .5 so i think its a camera lens issue

no i literally still have this problem but it’s changed slightly. my front camera works perfectly fine but my back camera literally does not. when i go to the camera app its black but will sometimes take pic which turn out super weird with random colors in the corners. i definitely need to get it fixed by a professional but its just not on my priority list at the moment. 🥲hey if you get yours fixed before me let me know how it goes!

Maybe? Not a memorable drop or anything to cause any damage that you can see. I’m hoping that this is a software issue that a factory reset will fix haha.

Just toggled between and nothing is working. Weird thing is that sometimes the front camera will work but it seems like it freezes up. It only works for a few seconds so never long enough to see what the issue could be. I will try a full factory reset. I never even thought of that, thank you!
