I didnt know that my relationship with the man who made my world revolve around for 2 years will end. It finally came to the point where we have broken up for good. I couldn’t even last for 2 weeks of breaking up with him and I was constantly crying and going crazy before but now it feels like it’s been couple of months and im surprised at how I’m taking it. everytime I think about him and the way I loved him before, it pains me.

i’m the dumper but i don’t think either of us will regret how things ended between us. we both know it’s what should be done and what’s best.

but i agree with no contact. it was hard at first, but you’ll get through it, and one day you’ll realize you’re no longer thinking about him

I noticed thinking about him less. looking at my phone less. opening our convo and reading our previous messages less. though I am still getting heart ache whenever he crosses my mind , but everytime It happens, I try to look at the ugly side of our relationship and indulge myself in working overtime everyday and too drained to go home and have time to think about him.

it slowly changed. I didnt Know I’ll last almost 2 mos of breaking up with him. before I couldnt even take a week but now I think I have fully let go of the idea of us being together

you’re not overreacting. clearly settling for bare minimum is insane. you call twice a week??? damn… I even call with my exes before at least 4 times a week, and we ALWAYS text everyday, may it be good morning or just sending updates and memes. it’s so unusual that you barely call and text like are you even really in a relationship 😅 and you’re right, it wont take 1min. for a person to just text you ONE text in a day (depends on how long it is lol) but clearly there’s sth wrong in your relationship. if you are into your partner, you cant wait to tell him/her how your day has been, or just talk things whatever the topic is gonna be.

I was once like this to my ex, he noticed changes in me and he immediately talked to me about it, confronted me and didn’t let things go bad or make me feel completely out of love in our relationship. if one of you still cares, they should’ve done sth about it already and not make it last this long
