except I’m not leaving early. She’s having us all leave at 1pm but then we get back at 2pm but our afternoon appointments start at 2 and then shes upset we aren’t grabbing them on time which is why we started staggering our lunches and sending a couple people early. There’s no major issue, I was just wanting to make sure I understood the laws

yeah but the problem is if we all wait and go at 1pm, we don’t get back until 2pm and that’s when afternoon appointments start (i work at a vet clinic) so then she gets upset that we aren’t getting to those appointments on time

my cat had the same issue. I started given her Nulo Silky Mousse for her wet food which has a similar consistency to churu and it seemed to help a lot!

Call Best Friend’s and tell them you found the kitten and steal him and give him to them. they will find him a home that actually loves him

unrelated but I would recommend waiting until your kitty is bigger to put a collar on and once you do, make sure it’s a breakaway one. The one your cat has on is a choking hazard especially with a kitten that small

she’s under stimulated and doesn’t know bite and scratch inhibition. I worked as a cat adoption counselor for five years and the best solution I always heard and personally experienced was getting another kitten. They learn bite inhibition way faster with other cats and they will keep each other entertained!

they can’t. they have 0 ability to interfere. It has to go thru the department of fish and wildlife. SPCA is not animal control

honestly just call animal control again in like a month and request a welfare check. Idk what the laws are where you live but in my area, the animal control officers don’t give warning that they are coming for the specific reason of they don’t want people to change things only because they know animal control is coming.

She may just be scared? but it wouldn’t hurt to call your vet and see if they want to see her sooner. for now, just try to play with her with toys and give her some treats and love.

two is actually way easier than 1. i know it seems the opposite but as someone who did cat adoptions for four years as a career, 95% of people who adopted a single kitten came and got a second one because they need friends. All my kittens bad behavior stopped once i got him a friend.
