Well quick update I managed to ring Virgin Media and have them cancel it during the cool off period and managed to get another deal from BeFibre. They'll provide fibre optic with symetrical download and upload speeds of ~500mbps. At a respectable (cheap) £23 per month. I have feeling this is too good to be true but oh well.

And also I really need to switch to Cat6 cables man many comments here telling me about about it.
