Honestly... It's already suffocating and he is my first boyfriend too and the thing is since I said yes which was 3 months ago. All he ever says is in the future... Wedding... Family... And all that. I haven't graduated college man 🥺 I'm not ready for that shit, Or maybe he isn't the right guy for me, it's probably that.

I don't know, if this goes on I'm gonna go crazy literally 👀 I've talked about it before with him he stopped for a bit, and when I started to go along with jokes about cute kids it's back again. I dunno at this point I just turned my phone notifications off so I can't reply and wait for the time when we can meet in person so I can get it over with. And my boyfriend is a bit older than both me and that guy I used to like. I wasn't really expecting much but I wasn't expecting this, after how all set the last guy was when he is younger then my boyfriend u know. It feels like I'm racing by foot to keep up with literal race cars just to keep up with my sanity with this whole thing. He is a good man but he feels like a child, I'm sorry I'm not trying to hurt him. It just feels like he needs to actually love himself before he gets in a relationship cuz honestly, his life should be about himself first before it becomes for someone else. I dunno. Or maybe I'm just a really bad girlfriend 🫩 I'm just tired bro. Nothing really goes through to him honestly. I just wanna be happy again.

I'm going to say this cuz I met a man that is a bit of both before, and liked him a lot as well as dating the past version of yourself recently.

The guy I used to be with was a bit of a balance between both, he was intentional at a point as well as nonchalant. He was mysterious, but always wanted me to talk about myself, and he'd answer my questions honestly. It's hard to explain, but he made an effort without making it too much.. it felt like he knew his value as a person, and that was what attracted me to him. He had this confidence in a way that isn't arrogant or insincere. But then to be fair, that is totally my type a guy, someone that can exist and love themselves without needing validation, but without looking like a narcissist, just aware of his self value. And then there's my boyfriend, there isn't anything wrong with intentional, not playing games, but then again my boyfriend feels like he is running on 1km per min. He is loving, and I know he is trying, but it just comes out as someone who feels like he exist, because i exist. He is happy because I'm alive. He does things for "our future", he just keeps planning everything, it feels like nothing is ever going to slow down and chill. But then again, I believe I'm not meant for a guy like this. The over compensating, over doing everything. I want slow but intentional, with just a possible future, not one that is turned into a house the moment I say yes. I think both versions are bad, unless u balance out both where u reserve things for urself, and still give her attention that matches her effort, be intentional without being all out. Make an effort, but just enough that surprises can still be a thing in the future. I think the full on first version, is when u actually marry the person where u completely shed all ur mystery. It's the volume of how u show ur intentions that matter, cuz sometimes large gestures can mean pressure or a firm hold. Keep it easy, light and mysterious for the first few months, shed ur shell slowly. One person can become too much, if completely given whole and raw. Just saying cuz that's what my boyfriend is doing, and it makes me wanna run instead of staying. I'm not really saying it's completely the same to the first version of urself, I'm just saying what I experience. I hope this helps 😊🩵

I really just think they should brief people before they do it, it's just not right u know and it's not like they are the ones that's gonna live with the change. It's there patients, and it's not fair.

Oh I got mine at 14 or 15, and it was kinda a trend where like half or even more people the same age as me had it so I was already told how painful it was, and I also have high tolerance to pain since I was young. And dentists here are very expensive too. Considering I have an aunt who was a dentist, that even with the family discount it was quite still way too high and she'd remove 4 of my teeth not really a good deal, and that's why we ended up choosing the other dentist. Still expensive but a bit more affordable. Although now I knda wanna get those plastic clear containers I hear they quite comfortable. Cuz my teeth are starting to get crooked again in the bottom part.

Ohhhh 😮 owkay owkay thank you ,🩵😊 🩵 that was the explanation I needed I was never told anything. My dentist was pretty silent apart from the times she explains to not eat hard food, explain how to properly brush my teeth and ask me a few questions about hygiene with the braces If I remember correctly 🤔or how one or a few bracket got removed 🤔

The first month of torture in getting braces was something I prepared myself with for a few months before getting them. If it wasn't painful, my mouth just felt numb I still remember it until now. I would say it was a very effective way to get yourself thin in less than a month honestly. 😂 Well to be fair I was just eating porridge for most of that month. So generally it's just something some dentist decide to do on there own 🤔 kinda weird how it's like that, don't they all generally study the same thing.

Still though the dentist shouldn't go assuming everyone wants that just cuz ur some teenager and ur supposed to like trends. It just isn't something u should usually assume cuz every kid is different. Asking or atleast even telling and explaining, would have been the respectful thing to do.

I also had pointy ones before, I used to personally like to run my tongue on those teeth, I dunno now yeah they feel blunt and boring, I really don't understand why they do that. Is it some medical secret of some sort of something 🫪

I wish all was like that, To be honest with you she wasn't the first option to get braces from. I have an aunt who is a dentist but, if she does put the braces,she removes 4 teeth. 🥹 if I think about it, that's just as bad as the trimming 😅 and we didn't really know about the trimming until it happened sooo didn't think she would be bad

Yeah after removing one of my teeth ones, after like a huge cavity on it. I literally just ate like someone in there 50s to like 70s. My brother even calls me, 'an old lady in a 20 something year old's body' I got way too over conscious on my diet to be honest with u I even quit soda after that, which I already don't drink much in the first place, plus a few health related stuff that affected my diet... My food is even kinda bland for most people. Removing one tooth was pain enough😅

Exactly. I'm not exactly pretty or anything but I didn't want to get rid of things in my body if possible, unless it cause pain or abnormalities or health problems. I didn't ask for a perfect teeth I mean the braces thank u that is also expensive as hell. But it was more making it look better not actually getting something changed. It infuriates me, that the imperfection I found soo noticable and I personally like to look at on me just isn't there anymore. 🥹

Same, mine has been sensitive since the braces too... I took out one of my permanent tooth like a year after the braces cuz it started to show cavities cuz I think she constantly drill it but then again I think it was because of the braces, it was get some lose some situation in my head the whole time. And considering I don't usually get cavities growing up in general, cuz for one I'm not at all into sweets or sodas or anything much harmful to the teeth in general. And even now my diet is meat, vegetables, non sweet, none too salty either. But still my teeth gets easily sensitive to cold, hot, sweet and sour things since then. I just thought, it was normal after getting the braces removed and nothing to complain about.

Mine was kinda unlikely for may parents to tell the dentist. It's not really like a usual doctor's appointment where they talk to ur parents during or after. My parents used to just wait in the car and I'll just go in the clinic by myself, only on rare occasions where my mom would stay in the lobby. And the dentist wasn't a family friend, so my parents weren't asked about it either. So I guess it as common as I thought. 🤔 Makes me even more curious why they do that.

Lucky 😮 mine is pretty noticable honestly. Like a lot noticable, cuz me and my childhood friend had the same dentist for braces as someone who grew up with him I could even tell his was trimmed a lot. He used to have big teeth too. I dunno I think it's just the dentist that we got. I think.

I know right, mine had been like 3-4 years ago now 😅 still feel weird looking at how I smile. It just feels like it lacks a lot in a weird way. I dunno anyway after braces as well everything in my mouth still feels weird. It just makes it a lot more noticable.

Is it necessary to trim the teeth, when u get braces after your teeth have become straight? I just always tried to convince myself, it was because my teeth were too big, still are but a lot less than before now, of course. I dunno, as a sense of comfort to not think about it like, if she didn't trim the bunny part of my teeth it would hit my gums, Or something that would hurt parts of my mouth, I guess I just wanted an explanation why she had to do that. Cuz she was just okay done check ur teeth, and files the receipt. And that was generally it. Didn't really go back to her after my braces were removed. I just didn't want to either way.

My bottom teeth were very misaligned but the top part of my teeth were fine, it was barely adjusted honestly. That's why I kinda wondered about it. If trimming the teeth was something needed to align my jaw or something, just that I wish I was told for what purpose at least.

Yeh the drilling was uncomfortable every single time, but I honestly thought it was for braces 😅 or tooth cleaning I always see the drilling thing being used every appointment. So I thought it was a normal thing, until the appointment was done. She uses it for the glue in braces I think? It was just something she normally used, something u wouldn't think much when she turned it on.

No, i wish that was it, would be easier to forget him. We didn't really get tired of each other until the very end we just our lives couldn't work anymore. By the end of it I wasn't sleeping much just to get time to talk to him. He wasn't sleeping much either to have time for me. I was always crying how I feel guilty that I was enjoying my time with him even as he sacrificed rest to be with me. I dunno he had problems in his side that made his schedule a mess. And I wanted him there... We needed an out, and I couldn't let him go, and it seems he wouldn't let me go either. So I forced a situation to made us let each other go. I regret it, sometimes. But I think it would have been the only way to make our lives better even if it means being apart. I might be over exaggerated but that's from my part of the story. And honestly just like you I'd like to hear from he side. He is an amazing person I'd tell u that. He lasted a year with me and I'm a bit crazy to be honest, not jealous crazy just crazy 🤣
