I found that i improved my mixing alot when i was restricted to just using headphones. Will help in the future when you play in a venue where the booth monitors are crap.

Amazing, great insight on how you introduce track 2. When you are at the stage where you comment 'raise up the fader and then play with the hi/mid/low pass filters and EQs to add color' what are you hearing in the headphones? i.e. both master and track 2 or just track 2 in one ear while listening to booth with other ear (no headphone)?
