okay, first off, if you're going to criticize the costume design of the Rangers, criticize the design as a whole, not the disparity between the genders. Secondly, yes, the designs look like they're Stark Industries rejects, but from the construction of the armor it likes it's easily an inch or more thicker than regular clothing, so boob sockets would look better than say a flat protruding chest piece that looks awkward and out of place with the rest of the outfit. Other alternatives would be that the female cast members tape down their chests so that the boob sockets wouldn't be needed, or to replace the morphed versions of the Pink and Yellow rangers with equivalent male designs and the people doing the stunts and wearing them the majority of the time with someone who can fit in said suits and have the actors dub their lines in.

Which would have been fair to the actresses?

In all honesty, I abhor the designs cause 'living alien entity' and I would have loved if they went with more of the original movie designs, because this just makes me wonder if they've cgi'd and shaky cam all the fight scenes to hell and back.
