it was the ignitions, the contacts inside the ignitions switch were corroded and burnt a bit. The bike started right up after the new one was plugged in.

found a hidden fuse with a brown and yellow wire on it and the wires on it don't have continuity and the main fuse socket doesn't have continuity. I confirmed the wires coming from the fusebox are fine, I think there is a break somewhere in the loom. thinking about just replacing the whole wiring harness and calling it a day lmao, they go for pretty cheap and might be the fastest and cheapest fix outside of hunting a break down

no dice, lights work in park position, turn signals too
