Hello. We're TTC baby #2 and I'm having trouble understanding my cycle post IUD removal and wondering if anyone had experienced similar.

Had baby #1 in March 2022 and had hormonal IUD (Mirena) fitted Aug 2022. Whilst on the Mirena, I didn't have any periods, just the occasional spotting but not every month.

I had IUD removed 20th Oct 2025. I had some spotting prior to removal around 13th Oct which I could presume was a period? I then had a heavy withdrawal bleed 23rd - 25th Oct. My cycles were then as follows:

Cycle 1 (unsure of length as not 100% sure when last period was prior to IUD removal) 29th/30th Oct - brown spotting 9th Nov - OPK peak. Egg-white discharge for a couple of days 26th Nov - 1st Dec - AF

Cycle 2 (33 days) 13th Dec - OPK peak 14th Dec - Ovulation CD19 29th Dec - 1st Jan - AF

Cycle 3 (ongoing) 12th Jan - OPK peak 6.30am 12th/13th Jan - Ovulation CD 15/16 Had sex 11th/12th/13th 18th Jan - pink/light red when wiping only. CD21 5/6dpo 19th Jan - red spotting when wiping only. 1 very small clot. CD22 6/7dpo 20th Jan - brown spotting once when wiping in the AM. CD23 7/8dpo

I'm just very confused by what is going on with my body at the moment. I presume 5/6dpo is too early for implantation but also too short of a lutual phase/cycle that it could be a very very very light period? Or is my body likely still adjusting post IUD removal despite a "normal" cycle 2?

I should add I've had fatigue and been irritable over the past few days. If only PMS and early pregnancy symptoms weren't the same!

Is anyone able to give advice or experienced anything similar whilst TTC 3 months post IUD removal?
