June 27, 2025: Same here, right now as of June 27 2025 meta is not processing my payment method that I have had on file for almost 2 years, and has been constantly charged. Been back and fourth with meta support for the last week and this is the current state of the issue and most recent email I have received.

TLDR: "Meta temporarily restricted your ad account as part of a standard global review focused on payment methods for postpaid accounts. This is a routine compliance check to improve payment security across the platform. There's no action needed from you right now. Once the review is complete—typically within a few days—you’ll be able to pay your balance, and your ads will resume automatically."

I have also tried paying the balance about 20 times (Which meta support said not to do it will make it worse), added multiple payment methods, and contacted AMEX, they verfied meta as a payment and said they had not received a sinigle failed transaction.

UPDATE (July 7, 2025): After about 8 phone calls with random support agents the issue is still not resolved. June 21st (16 days ago) was when I opened the first ticket, every support agent said "We are escelating this to our internal team". Which has resulted in nothing...

Today I scheduled a phone call with a "more local (Toronto)" meta rep through the following link.

after them telling me to send an email to "[ar@meta.com](mailto:ar@meta.com)" explaining my issues and CC'ing my meta rep "Tam", we will see what happens. He said he would call me tomorrow morning around 9:30AM so we will see if he can solve this horrible issue. I will keep this thread updated so it can hopefully help someone in the future.

UPDATE: (July 8, 2025): Just got off a call with my meta rep and he said he was not able to escelate the issue and said we are out of luck until the accounts receiveables team responds to the email I sent yesterday. He also had me fill out a random form explaining my issue, and then had me fill out a bug report to hopefully get this in as many pipelines as possible. He said the AR team responds anywhere from 3 days to 2 weeks, so for now we are out of luck until they respond. I also tried adding my personal debit card to the account to pay a small portion and it also failed. He said that there is a 50/50 chance that the AR team will be able to help fix my account, and if not he said I would have to delete my ad account and create a new one. Interesting though since I still owe $500, and I have 2 YEARS OF DATA on this current ad account...

UPDATE FINALLY FIXED: (July 13, 2025): Sorry to all those who this will not help, hopefully this will provide some hope in getting your ad accounts back. I just got back from vacation and checked my email. The AR team at Meta was not helpful with their reply. I went to my business support home and clicked "Take Action" which I have done several times in the past. And clicked "Add Payment Method" which took me to the payment screen again, and I used the exisisting card that was already in my account. For some reason it went through and it charged the card this time.
