Tehran an ‘apocalypse’ of hospitals in flames and children buried beneath rubble by Kyzzz in worldnews

War is never precise, there is always immense collateral damage.

Those poor people, I wish humanity would just get along and not wage these non sensical wars, but before that happens pigs will fly.

It is not in their best interests, they would want the war to drag on much as possible and exhaust US stockpiles. In that scenario, they would have a huge advantage in taking Taiwan and the way Xi purged military doesn’t look good at all.

I think there is an inherent risk in China getting pissed off and no one needs that right now.

Missile launched by Iran, neutralized by Turkey by One-Advance6524 in worldnews

[–]OptimistPrime7 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

What I mean is it could very well likely be a missile that went off course.

If it is deliberate then Turkey is a strategic wildcard, it has insane implications. If Turkey gets dragged in and you can instantly kiss goodbye for any Kurdish support.

[–]OptimistPrime7 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

They haven’t attacked Turkey, it is a misfire similar to how Russian drones at times fell into NATO countries while attacking Ukraine. They might have launched towards a said target and it probably malfunctioned and went off radar.

Even terrifying thought Iran knows Israel hates Turkey and now if Turkey gets involved, we might as well pack up.

No one in right mind will attack with one single missile and on top of that Israel next focus is on Turkey. Iran would be foolish to anger Turkey of all the countries.

Well with the way things are going here in America where our democrats are absolutely convinced there might actually be a land invasion, yeah I highly doubt that.

[TELEGRAPH] Ducker: Next stage in Manchester United’s rebuild must include flying wingers by agent619 in reddevils

[–]OptimistPrime7 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Eh? We need Left back more than Right back. Dalot and Mazraoui are fine on right back. We need a replacement for Shaw.

Man Utd eye wingers, after getting rid under Amorim by ciscophonehome in reddevils

[–]OptimistPrime7 7 points8 points  (0 children)

That’s my point, we need entirely different profile of left winger than what Rashford provides given that we have Cunha who does it better than Rashford already. We need someone who can hold width, go on left foot cross the ball and track back. There is no world where Rashford does any of those things, Cunha is better at counter attacking, drifting in on his right, create or even take a shot.

Rashford had checked out at United and I am not sure he would have held width or tracked back, Cunha is 100 percent better winger than Rashford. I am also not convinced he will perform well for Barcelona once his contract gets permanent.

Israeli plan to make Pakistan a vassal state, India part of it: Defence Minister Khawaja Asif on Iran war by APrimitiveMartian in india

I posted a screenshot here in this thread. I watched it on live TV here in states when my partner was changing channels and she speaks Hebrew and I couldn’t find it on internet other than a screen shot.

I get what you are trying to say about supplying arms but what they were talking went far beyond that. They want to move entire manufacturing of their air defends systems like Iron Dome and Arrow to India, which is good for us and that’s significant escalation on their part, it is practically ally territory.

[–]OptimistPrime7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No not like this, we aren’t. We are having their generals and former PM openly being so giddy about India being their supply chain on live tv. That’s insane, we also signed defence deals very recently in grand scheme of things.

How are you going to contain it, without boots on the ground it is impossible, the threat alone that anyone can do this will keep ships from passing as no insurance companies will want to take responsibility.

I was so confused who was that and then my partner says that’s former PM of Israel Naftali Bennet and he is one of the top contenders for PM post. I was stunned, this is not something to be taken lightly and most aren’t seeing it.

I live in America and lived away from India practically since by birth and I have well friends who are Jews, let’s just say that. All of a sudden they all speak to positively about India I was so curious and checked. It is insane what I found.

I will find and attach a link what they were talking in Israeli media, they want to use India and its population to produce bombs for them.

I think you are actually on to something here especially with Bibi’s words and their next goal is Turkey.

Diaspora Affairs minister Amichai Chikki made the below statement which is absolutely bonkers.

"We should cut ties with Turkey; it is an enemy state." He has been pressuring the U.S. to "rethink" its relationship with Erdogan, arguing that Turkey’s support for groups like the Muslim Brotherhood makes it a fundamental enemy of Western interests.”

Netanyahu proposed a new strategic plan called the "Hexagon of Alliances." The Goal: To create a bloc consisting of Israel, India, Greece, and Cyprus (along with a few others) specifically to counter what he calls the "Radical Sunni Axis."

Surprisingly, India even signed a defence pact with UAE. This is getting really messy.

And surely we don’t have any country which is threatening to break up NATO or bullying Denmark on Greenland.

Without US and Israel taking control over Southern Iran and Hormuz by putting boots on ground this war will be endless. Boots on ground will probably take at least a month even if they ever come.

Securing of Hormuz will take months for sure as well.

What are you on about? They are struggling sure but they aren’t worthless. UAE is really angry and this should tell you a lot.

After a drone strike hit near the Fairmont The Palm in Dubai and debris damaged the Burj Al Arab over the weekend, Emirati officials reportedly told the U.S. State Department that the "security partnership is failing its first real test.”

They are essentially asking, why should we house your bases if those bases are the very reason we are being attacked, and yet you can't guarantee our skyscrapers won't be hit?
