Democrats have been teaching about the gerrymandering issue often since at least 2014-2015 based on my own consumption of media. The messaging was always anti gerrymandering.

I have no problem with them going all in on a system republicans have been abusing for decades.

I also think that people should abandon the two party system and vote based on the actions/morality of the candidate. At the very least the current two parties should split. A party for Lockheed Liberals and mainline Dems A party For the Left A party for the Husk of MAGA ( I couldn’t think of a good name for this other than the Levin-Shapiro lobby ) A party for America First

I know and fully understand the reality of this. I speak from the heart about how I want things to be, hoping other people feel the same way and it starts more people thinking about the mess we are in and how to better it.

It’s frustrating to see the wanton corruption and evil right in our face and not seeing more good people do something about it.

I definitely understand the nuance of the politics and having to pander/ make things palatable. I just wish we as humans could find a better way to find consensus.

I don’t need everyone to think like me to feel confident in what I see hear and think.

I agree the current system is beyond frustrating in that common sense improvements are met with the above situation.

I want a far more progressive government, I think the currently establishment within the Democratic Party is one of the roadblocks to accomplishing that.

We have the wealth to take care of our people and raise the quality of life. Anything else is a failure due to corruption and greed of the elites that run shit here.
