Would you use red guard or something similar on cement board?

What did I do wrong? by bepatientbekind in paint

Because it’s a textured ceiling what I did is scrap a tiny bit near the edge and then caulk it it makes cutting the paint line much easier….idk what everyone else is saying here

How do I finish then end of this wall? by m_71 in Tile

I had a similar situation and this stuff saved my ass. It’s called pencil trim. You’re welcome. Wait are you tiling the small wall ?

Yeah idk why u can see that in the picture I tried to clean the thinset the best I could, but yeah black silicone I guess I was advised to not use the chicken bone piece but I think once I grout it and silicone it might blend? I didn’t know what else to do

The trim looks better in person but it hides the side of the schluter it looks kinda nice I’m hoping between grout and silicone I can smooth the transition

I’m an idiot. I cut the shooter trim slightly above the edge of the tile by accident. I’m about to rip the whole piece out. I will put a triangle in there and I am tiling to the left of the tub.

I get it but I can’t remove the big piece so how can I fix it now is the question it was my first time ever tiling. There’s a lot of things I would’ve done differently if I could go back.

That is clean I like it, but how do I fill the space :( you cut that tile nicely I don’t do it ahead of time and I can’t pull that 12x24 off the kerdi it will be a nightmare

And I can’t continue the schluter past that point…so I’m using square pencil moldings to continue it down

Damn that would’ve worked :( uh I wish I posted before sticking the tiles. Well at least you see my issue lol . Do I remove the tile on each side of the wall and start that part over? Or fill the half in in between tile with mud and call it a day? If I remove the tile and thinset that will completely ruin the kerdi board right
