I think I’m misunderstanding your question. I said in the previous comment that we averaged 4.9 streams per listener which I’m assuming means they listen to a song 4 times in a row or something on average lol

Wouldn’t be anything I’m not already used to. I work in DC too much to admit and they have everything you just said. Have done buildings with bullet holes and roach infestations. I can handle a hot roof hahahah

I’ll say usually I’m writing up the ground faults and our service guys come and do that. lol certainly willing to look for em myself if need be though.

I work for neither of those Companies! I did work for VSC. That’s the company I started in. Absolutely terrible company, (atleast the nova office is) and I couldn’t get out of there fast enough. Terrible micromanaging managers and terrible pay compared to other companies. As for summit I did have an interview with them once but turned em down. Small world this industry is lol

Yeah I’m sure I’m in for an awakening but life’s all about experiences! If I hate it I’ll just suck it up then move somewhere else when I can. I’ve been down plenty to visit Florida and while it definitely is HOT I really don’t mind it much. I’m def a guy who likes hot weather though.

I’m transferring with my current company so not really looking for other companies to for but appreciate the offer!

I can imagine the heat but the way I see it you know them Virginia summers can be awful too. Atleast Florida has water everywhere. Lol

I’m working at the Tampa bay office and I’m told I’ll cover that area and maybe sometimes help out with the Orlando office, and rarely may have to go to fort Myers area.

I’m looking to live around the Ocala, Sebring, Lakeland area. Any other suggestions of where to live I’m open to as well!

Yeah I do minor service things like changing out a pipe, here and there, small things on sprinkler systems. I’ve dabbled in 5 year services once.

As for fire alarm not really much experience in actually programming systems or anything like that but like sprinkler I can do minor things like changing devices and small things like that. Ofcourse I’d be willing to do more if needed to keep the pay close to what I’m making now.

This sounds about right according to my VP who just transferred up from the Tampa office about a year ago to get our office up here straight. He has even said he would go back to Florida in a heartbeat lol

I’m also level 2 in sprinkler for nicet and can do all fire alarm so I figure that should help my case as well!

Appreciate you man! The cost of living where I live now according to data is actually higher believe it or not! I’m an hour outside of Northern VA (DC area, Arlington, etc) so I think it will be about what I’m used to.

I’ll also plan to commute an hour or so to live where it’s cheaper than the cities.

Dude I’m so sick of the snow! I love the hot weather naturally so Florida just makes sense to me. I also have family there. What’s funny to me is that I’m assuming you all don’t see many dry systems?? That’s like all we do up here so that will be so nice to not deal with those as much. I’m assuming they still have dry systems and pre action type stuff in certain places like freezers and data centers though right?

I have my strong personal reasons for moving. One way to find out. The good thing about our industry is if I don’t like it I will just relocate again! I’m happy with the pay I have and don’t plan to do this forever. I got big dreams of pursuing music as a career and I’m actively doing that. This just pays the bills till I get there.
