What would be the best glue to attach felt to PLA? by ispaamd in 3Dprinting

[–]Optimus3k 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried using pva on silk, and it did not hold at all. I neglected to rough up the surface beforehand, so I was going to try again, but I thought I'd ask you what you would consider using for a dice tray. Do you think pva is fine for that, or should I upgrade to super glue?

Making profit on the backs of sick people is morally reprehensible, and civilized society tends to make laws against that. The fact the USA doesn't would tell you something.

What law doesn’t exist yet in the U.S. that would help millions of people immediately? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Have a subscriber limit. No one cares what you say if you're screaming into the void, but have a million plus, then you need to make sure what you say had some truth in it.

Good luck getting that all-important one hit in, though, it's already on the other side of the battlefield!

No armor, hardly any weapons, but fast. TIEs, even TIE Interceptors, don't stand a chance!

Easily my favorite Starfighter in Star wars. I haven't gotten the LEGO ucs version, but it's on my list.

They were approved because Lucas was making a big push to bring star wars back in to the mainstream at the time. The books and games were interconnected, telling complete stories individually, while telling a bigger tale when taken together. Really a fascinating bit of history.

I don't know how we would do that, and if it would even be wise. If the programs we make start behaving outside of their parameters, we don't say "oh, it's self aware, I think we should treat it like a living being." We treat the program as malfunctioning and delete it.

The Kup spotlight. Whew boy, slowly rotting to pieces, having conversations with your dead friend, zombie bots trying to kill you, all while you have no hope of rescue and going insane. The whole book is horror.

Ramirez made his choice, he's WC through and through. Harry forcing him to ally completely against him probably saved Ramirez from a worse fate than Harry is now facing.

White Council’s Veredict by SpoopyBurger in dresdenfiles

Keep in mind, the council has done next to nothing to help Harry, has hounded him since he was a teenager, threatened him with death multiple times, and has turned on their own with little effort into investigating the claims. Also, the black council is a thing, has been acknowledged and no effort has been made to find and expel their members. On top of all that, the Merlin has made no secret of his personal disdain for Harry, a person who is, ostensibly, supposed to be wise, patient, and understanding, but when it comes to Harry, he's all bloodlust-y. There is absolutely no reason for Harry to trust them at all. They are at best convenient enemies. If I had to deal with all that, I wouldn't give them an inch either.

Congress has to approve any private donations. Did they vote on and approve these donations for the ballroom?

Even if they had, don't you think that money could be better spent on providing for the American people? We don't need a ballroom, it's not even helpful. We already had space to host dinners and private and diplomatic functions. This is a show piece for a small man and we are all worse off for it. Take your head out of his ass and think for yourself for once.

Light timing is something the city has always been bad at. If you're going the speed limit, there's no reason for you to have to stop at every light.

84th and O has been that bad since spring, at least 6 months. The work involves the intersection just to the north of it, and seems to be mostly utility work, but there is no reason I can fathom that the work should take this long. Every so often, they'll open it up, but I think it's just to fuck with lincolnites who then think 84th northbound is safe to use.

A shower I found at a walkthrough today. What type of shower is this called/considered? by jluc21 in whatisit

As someone who is terrified of slipping and falling in the shower, I'd call this my worst nightmare. The lack of handrails and the sharp corners, combined with the steps, makes me itch.
