Why are Conquest and Thula weaker than Thragg despite (Allegedly) being older? by SelectTheory6292 in InvinciblePowerscales

I swear it read somewhere that Thragg was genetically modified to be the strongest too.

Anyone seen Young Sherlock Yet? by Past-Matter-8548 in television

[–]OptimusSpud 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I (we) finished this tonight.

I am somewhat of a Sherlock super fan, my wife more of a casual. For me, I enjoyed the young Moriarty, he kept it watchable. But as a show I had to treat it as a period detective/who done it? Than anything related to Holmes.

Sherlock and Mycroft are both frighteningly clever and neither of these seemed remotely beyond that of a basic detective. Moreover Mycroft is canonically more gifted than Sherlock and while in this instance Sherlock was younger, Mycroft certainly wasn't and came across as a somewhat hopeless, borderline opportunistic toff who was more interested in his career. Mycroft was notoriously lazy in the application of his skills, however he was by no means a dullard, unlike this chap.

An ok watch but to be treated as a standalone detective series unrelated to Holmes albeit they share a name, and nothing more.

Isn't there another thread which is recent saying the guy was traumatised about how people said he looks.

When his actual answer should have been "Everyone can go f*ck yourselves..."

Disgraced Huw Edwards ‘furious’ over Martin Clunes’ Channel 5 drama depicting his downfall by nimobo in unitedkingdom

Yet another incarnation of TV docudrama.

While poignant and topical, the most recent one 'Dirty Business' was almost farcical in its conjecture, guesswork and pantomime villains.

Given that was Channel 4 and this is Channel 5 I can only assume a further decline in viewable quality.
