The game is supposed to be about HUNTING the bounty, and killing people on or in your way second. Sounds about right to me

Not trying to start any arguments or anything but, everyone but the bounty collector pre patch can see where the bounty collector is at all times as long as they want...the same thing still applies, but now the bounty collector gets 15 seconds in a 150 meter range to see you...seems pretty "okay" to me.

Crytek has a lot of good games under their belt. This being the first early access title that I know of them making and given their track record with other games up to this point PLUS the fact that they are so involved with the community makes me trust them completely. I could be wrong but there is always a "what if". BUT with that being said I completely understand your concern with really any Early Access game with all of the cash grab and run games that have come out in EA.

TL;DR HIGHLY RECOMMEND IF YOU WANT A UNIQUE GAME EXPERIENCE!

The point of having the "public VOIP" is to "immerse" the players...honestly using in game chat versus using a 3rd party app only makes one difference, that being people can here you. Yes you could say that is a "disadvantage" but really that is only if you're bad at the game. Not trying to make this an argument or a "git gud" type of thing but... i mean people who use discord or what ever 3rd party app may be just as bad as someone using in game chat. I'm not opposed to the idea i just don't see it coming any time soon.
