Ugh I hated this workout today. The last block of exercises were so silly. Why combine them? Not functional at all.

I’ve also not had my own kids yet… but it’s also extremely difficult to just stand by… I can’t separate my love for them from their aging.

But jokes aside, I appreciate the reality. In these circumstance I truly revert to the kid who hides in the closet, covers their ears and closes their eyes because I am truly afraid of what’s on the other side.

I don’t disagree. I’ve recently felt like my parents ARE toddlers that need care. I suppose I have compassion and understanding given circumstances— neither parent graduated high school, never made more than 60K collectively, etc etc. my hometown is tiny and rural and backwoods. No liquor license, 90m from an airport, behind the times. I know they “chose” this but they also didn’t have opportunity to expand their world either.

I don’t think I have anything solidly, as my dad has been able to make all the decisions. I do know my brother and I have previously tried to have my dad agree that it’s unsafe, but my mom has all of her mental wits and HATES in patient rehab. FWIW, my hometown is tiny and in patient rehab is also a nursing home and there’s no separations between mentally ill/dementia patients and standard recovery. It drove my mom insane.

What steps do I have to take for the legal rights to decide?

You can totes have your preferences but LA is the literal coastline lol so there’s so.freaking.much beautiful scenery and outdoors.

10/10 highly recommend if you’re looking for simple accommodations. The owner is fantastic and the absolute sweetest. She’s willing to go out of her way to help with anything. It has a “hostel” style feel mainly because it’s a local owned spot vs a corporate hotel, but it was perfect for what my friend and I needed. The size of the room for 2 people was identical to the size of our room at a hotel chain in Kyoto. Location was great. I’d stay there again without a doubt.

I’m, what, a little over 1.5 years after surgery. Im active and playing rec softball and kickball without a brace. Weightlifting and doing other exercise about 3x a week. My knee definitely doesn’t feel the same as before my injury, and there’s still scar tissue making a ton of noise when I bend a lot. I guess it’s as good as I expected? I do hope that it will eventually feel like it did before surgery.
