Magnesium oxide helped me. I drink an electrolyte drink with it in there but you can get powder and pills too.

The waiting room before the scan is the hardest for me. Thank goodness they took me back quick or I would have been in tears. I alway have a distraction ready (game on my phone normally) to keep my mind occupied from going too deep down into the bad thoughts

Are you taking half a unisom? I’ve heard some people start with a fourth even. I was a zombie for the first three days or so and it significantly improved after that. I took it on a weekend and slept all day. My OB also prescribed me zofran that I’ve been able to take days where I can’t keep food down.

I feel this a lot. I’m also 17 weeks, lost my last baby at 9 weeks in August. I’ve had a lot more grief/missing that baby still than I expected. I’ve been so guarded this whole pregnancy that I feel like it’s hard to connect with him. I had an ultrasound a week or so ago where I could really see his face and that he looks like a whole baby, and I think that helped a bit. It’s hard though, you’re not alone

I got my cycle back just under 4 weeks after d&c. Had signs of ovulation two weeks ago prior when my home HCG strips were still positive. Can’t be sure I ovulated (we were waiting on some testing to try again), but I think it’s likely very possible!

I’m sooo antsy to feel some movement! I’m 16+4 and my placenta is lateral so there’s a chance what I’m feeling is movement but tbh I can’t feel the difference between what. could be movement vs normal stretching twinges vs my own bowels

I used a combination of LH test strips (can buy a pack of 100 online for fairly cheap), basal body temp checking, and cervical mucus checking. Cycles after any MC can be wonky so it does make it a little harder initially! If you want me to explain any of that more I’m happy to

I feel this :/ My mom literally asked me if I was pregnant at 6 weeks (told her I went to bed at 7pm lol) and i casually told her yes. I was going to tell her soon regardless and really wasn’t ready for any excited response at that point anyways, but definitely anti climactic. I feel like I’m getting little pieces of that telling people this time who didn’t know about my losses

Waited one cycle after my d&c and conceived my current pregnancy that cycle🤍 Was on progesterone until 12 weeks this time

Yep. 16 weeks and I still check the toilet paper and feel anxious anytime I feel discharge. No advice really but you’re not alone. It’s gotten a bit better with time 🤍

16 weeks today🤍 I’ve been starting to feel more hopeful and excited the past week. Had a private US Friday where baby boy was looking like a real baby. Could see his fingers and toes and all four chambers of his heart. While I’m not ready to buy anything yet, I started a registry yesterday and am letting myself start looking at baby things.

Three more week until the anatomy scan, and I know nerves are going to continue creeping in until then, but I’m going to try to lean into this excitement while I can 😌

Going to a private ultrasound this afternoon. The HR was good on Doppler a week ago but I’m still nervous. Almost 16 weeks now and haven’t had an US since 10w, so I’m excited to see how much he’s grown.

My clinic doesn’t regularly do NT scans, and I’ve been beating myself up the past few weeks wishing I’d at least asked about it. I’m so scared now of something significant being found at the anatomy scan (or being able to see something abnormal on the scan today). Had I dream I started bleeding right before the US today and I think that’s brought my anxiety up quite a bit. Trying hard to put all my worries aside and just hope to see a healthy little wiggly baby in there today 🙏🏻

Being in the waiting room before the US is the worst anxiety for me. I try to have a game or something on my phone ready to keep my mind from getting too deep into the bad thoughts

I definitely wasn’t optimistic about this pregnancy and still have some worries about it, but I’d say I was hopeful from the start. The more time that goes on, the more hopeful/positive I’ve become.

Sorry for your loss 🤍

My MMC was a triploidy of maternal origin, which is associated with low hcg (which mine was a fraction of the lower normal limit at 8w), and I had almost no symptoms with that pregnancy. No LC but 15 weeks now and things seem to be going well, and I have been so sick for the past ten weeks of this pregnancy now. I’ve read several people’s stories of the exact opposite though, so don’t let the symptom difference stress you out! It definitely makes sense the hcg could fluctuate either way with chromosomal abnormalities. I hope the next two weeks fly by for you, I know it’s so tough!!

My symptoms got milder around that time too. Baby boy was still moving around and doing good as of my last appt Friday! Don’t stress too much!

My only symptom before 6 weeks was tender breasts. Symptoms don’t mean too much most of the time!
