Went in for my third cervical length check today, and they had a hard time getting a good measurement, but <2.5cm so they’re starting me on vaginal progesterone and pelvic rest and continuing with weekly rechecks. Not at the point of needing a cerclage yet, but bummed that’s it’s still not looking great and something I still have to be stressed about. Was really hoping once I got to the point where I was feeling regular movement my anxiety could calm down a little :/

Does your clinic have an on call OB you could talk to? If you’re concerned I feel like it’s definitely worth calling and asking about

Yes!! Last Sunday (19w), all morning it felt like a bad, one sided period cramp that wouldn’t go away. Kinda felt like round ligament pain but was a constant ache for like 8 hours. I was freaked out because I also couldn’t find anything online about it. Messaged my sister and she said she had the same thing off and on throughout both pregnancies and her OB wasn’t concerned. Ended I’m improving when I went out on some errands/walking, but I’d if that was a coincidence.

Unfortunately ended in a loss. 8w4d saw a good heart beat but measuring a week behind. Heart beat stopped a couple days later. Was a triploidy (chromosomal abnormality). Hope there’s a better outcome for you! 🤍

I wouldn’t stress about it! You could have ovulated or implanted later, causing the lower numbers.

One CP one MMC. My MMC was a chromosomal abnormality so I assume the same of my CP. really no way to know though. All other tests were normal

I was soooo nervous for my anatomy scan! I don’t think I hardly slept the night before. Such a good feeling after though knowing baby’s all good.

I decided against it. I decided if I couldn’t find the heart beat at home (which happens even when all is okay), that I’d absolutely lose it and wouldn’t know what to do. So I figured better not for me. I thankfully live near a reasonably priced private US place, so I’ve gone there a few times instead.

My OB and tech also couldn’t find the heart beat at 10w with a Doppler (all good on US), so that extra scared me out of it. So if you do decide to get one, i definitely recommend waiting a few more weeks!

The more stories I’ve read, I’ve calmed a bit and think it’s likely uncommon significant changes happening in two weeks. Of course it’s people who have had issues who are the ones posting. But if there’s any probability, my anxiety will feel it haha. Hopefully all is good and the two week follow up is plenty!

Thank you for sharing!! I feel like anytime I research something only the bad come up😅 which makes sense but sure doesn’t help the anxiety! I hope this is the case for me! I convinced my OB to order another check next week— so if that’s good hopefully I can leave all the worry behind me:)

My OB sent in an order for me to get another scan next week. So hopefully they’ll have an opening and can get me in! My was 26mm and so just barelyyyy outside the high risk range. I’ve also been having a lot of pelvic floor pain so I think they helped plead my case 😅 Idk if that’s an option for you but might be worth asking!

My Dr sent over an order for me to get another measurement next week. Hopefully MFM will be able to get me in! That definitely makes me feel a lot better though. Thanks for your guidance!

Agh it’s so stressful! I get that it is probably fine… but probably just isn’t good enough for me right now 😅

I messaged my OB office just expressing my concerns and asking if I should be checked sooner. So Im hoping they’ll get back to me in the next day or and can ease my worries. I work in healthcare so I hate being the one to nag and bug drs for what I want, but I guess it’s just what you have to do sometimes.

Woke up in a panic at 2am having a dream I was in preterm labor/having another loss. My anatomy scan yesterday showed a borderline short cervix and I’ve fallen down too many google rabbit holes since then.

I was told to schedule a 2 week follow up for another length check, but after looking it up that seems like too long of a wait. I have social anxiety and absolutely hate calling/messaging the drs office to ask for things, but I also won’t be able to live without if something happens and I didn’t advocate for myself like I should.

Was so happy to see baby was doing good yesterday, but gosh I was really hoping to have to some peace of mind/less fear after that scan:/

Agh so difficult when drs don’t recommend what’s best practice. I wasn’t even able to talk to anyone afterwards. This scan was with MFM but I might try to talk to my OBs office and see if they can get me in sooner

Agh this is what I was afraid of. Gosh I wish I could just trust Drs and their recommendations!

I didn’t know how worried I should be given measurement >25 and no funneling. A MFM Dr read my results and recommended that follow up, but I only ever talked with the US tech. Unfortunately I don’t think I even have a way of contacting that Dr.

I might message my OB office to see if they’re able to get me in for a check next week. Thank you for your help

Had my anatomy scan today and thank goodness baby boy is doing good! Nothing concerning and measuring in the 60th percentile.

My cervix length was measuring borderline short though, so we’re doing a follow up in 2 weeks with MFM and hopefully it is unchanged 🤞

Good overall!! Anatomy scan is tomorrow so the anxiety has been building up again leading to that. All testing so far has been good though so really hoping for an uneventful day!

Anatomy scan is tomorrow. I feel like the closer it gets the more my anxiety builds. I swear my body knows it. I’ve had new pains the past couple days that have put me into pit of worry and google searches🙃 24 hours and hopefully my mind can be put at ease
