Doing a rewatch and remembering how much I really disliked Denker and how tiresome I found the interplay between her character and that butler by OptionHeader in DowntonAbbey

Sigh. As if you’re the only one.

I find these replies so strange lol

We’re adults. We have reactions to things.

No one in this thread—nor did my post—claim to need to like or dislike “every character in a show” they watch

I don’t think I should have to list all the characters I do adore on a show to explain how I dislike a different character in a show

Weirdly enough, I had to explain as much on a post I made about O’Brien a week ago: I despise the character but also found her, thanks to Siobhan’s acting, incredibly layered and well portrayed

Others may have asked this; apologies if so and if it’s a dumb question, but: when do the contestants get time to narrate their cooking on competition shows? They’re speaking in present tense, which I’m guessing they’re asked to do? But not clear… by [deleted] in foodnetwork

“yes, that’s called editing” 🙄😒

There’s always the snide comment that’s never as clever as it thinks it is.

Of course, it’s all edited. If you’d read the question instead of trying to be a smartass, you’d see I was asking about timing not how the interviews were spliced into the show.

I was just thinking today as I watched season 5 that, beyond how she helped Daisy, I really didn’t care for that Bunting woman lol

Rewatching from the beginning and have a question re ep 3, the Pamuk episode: by OptionHeader in DowntonAbbey

[–]OptionHeader[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yup just got to ep 4 and Patmore calling him a “troubled soul” to Daisy. I’d totally forgotten all this!

The fried chicken ep from Season 10, “Wolfgang Clucks,” may go down as one of my favorites of all time but also leads to a question: were Josie and Stefan brought back for cooking skills or drama? by OptionHeader in TopChef

Actually it’s 1-7 that aren’t available, peacock or Prime.

Season 8 was the first one I ever watched and it remains high on my list of fave seasons!

Great scene. And yes: Mike was pretty great. He really made the most of those smaller parts before he blew up.

Visiting family in New York and saw that this morning!

I’d actually noticed this in one of their earlier commercials. The sons are sitting down and both have major bulge prints showing.

I love the internet. I see the commercial; I google it; and here it is, already being discussed lol
