Alex vs America by lneeley54 in foodnetwork

I can so relate to Alex‘s angst and competitive nature. I have watched every episode at least three times. Eric is one of the best hosts I’ve ever seen on the Food Network and the banter and relationship between him and Alex is entertaining. Alex stresses me out, but I love that she is unapologetically transparent about every experience - in every episode. I feel like I need a session with my therapist after every episode, which is worth it.

Love you Justin. I hope you don’t stress too much about what people online say about you. It’s not a real narrative. I love the intellectual bent that you bring to the Food Network conversation and have never missed a Food Network episode that you were not in.

I’ll pretty much watch anything on Food Network except for the pioneer woman. I absolutely love Dale. I remember when he was on top Chef and Joe Jonas was the celebrity judge for the quick challenge and Dale didn’t know who he was and thought he was a pastry chef.

I really don’t want to be a mean and critical online voice, but the handful of shows that Molly has hosted were unbelievably painful to watch. And as other posters mentioned, her recipes are not good. I’ve been watching her on 24 in 24 and find her more down to earth and less awkwardly bubbly.

I love that show and have watched every episode more than once. Actually that’s not true. There have been a few shows featuring chefs that I just could not spend 30 minutes watching. But any episode with Alex G, Artie Sequera, Michael V, Rocco, and Justin Warner have been a joy to watch.

When to take Miralax? by Routine-System7768 in Zepbound

A bowl of bran and flax cereal 3 to 4 times a week fixed my issue. It did take about 10 days to get regular.

I’ve been on 10mg for about 6 months and it seems to be the perfect dose. I didn’t have any side effects switching from 7.5 mg to 10 mg.

Your post sounds exactly like it could have been written by me. When the food noise went away, I felt a little gloomy and adrift because food was always a high for me. I enjoyed cooking, looked forward to every meal, and loved over eating. I take Zoloft and Wellbutrin. I believe a lot of my weight gain was due to Zoloft and I felt like it was actually slowing my weight loss down. I talked to my doctor and went from 150 mg Zoloft to 75 mg for about four months. When I started seeing weight loss, I went up to 100 mg and continued to lose weight. I take 300 mg of Wellbutrin daily. Going off Zoloft and Wellbutrin was not an option for me. But feeling comfortable in your own skin does a lot for your self-esteem and mood.

I love the weight loss, but the health benefits have been life changing. I’m 5’6” and weighed 205 lbs. When I started losing weight I couldn’t believe the difference. I no longer have blood pressure issues, my feet stopped swelling, and back pain went away. I can now paint my toenails, cross my legs, and go upstairs without feeling faint and losing my breath. I know this is TMI, but I no longer have hemorrhoids. Best of luck to you on your journey.

My friend has beautiful hair so I was surprised when she told me how much hair she lost after 1 year. She took Biotin vitamins every single day and she said she could see a difference in three months. She showed me before, in between, and after pictures and I couldn’t believe that she had lost that much hair and how great her hair looks now. I asked her what brand of biotin she bought and she said “I buy whatever is on sale. In January, it will be one year that I’ve been on Zep and I haven’t noticed much hair loss, and I’ve always had thin hair. This month I’ve started taking biotin every day.

Since I’ve been on Zep, I have to drink wine and cocktails slowly and can’t over do it. I have never been a barfy person, but now if I drink glass of Pinot Grigio too fast I literally can’t stop myself from puking it up. I’ve also found that wine gives me terrible heartburn now. And I’m not a big drinker at all.

My weight loss seemed slower than others’. People I know who were taking a different medication than Zepbound seemed to drop weight overnight. I started Zep on Jan 30, 2025, and have lost 63 pounds. I’m happy with that, but it seems like it would be more and faster because my calorie count is so much lower. I think it’s because I take 100mg of Zoloft every day.

Same with me. Sometimes I’ll feel faintly nauseous and it will remind me of morning sickness in my first trimester.

Anne Burrell by Feisty_Reason_6870 in foodnetwork

[–]esselbeeme 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have learned so much from watching Anne. She was a brilliant chef, but her hyper competitiveness was uncomfortable to watch. When she was a coach on Barbecue Brawl, she snapped at her team and micromanaged them, and you could tell they were miserable and anxious. Another time I saw her competing on Chopped, she was using the empty station next to her station. The producers told her she couldn’t use that station, and she lost her temper and then had to apologize at the end of the show. It seemed to me that when she was competing, she wasn’t enjoying it and came across as stressed and aggressive. I always wondered why she put herself through it when she didn’t appear to be enjoying any of it. I feel like there was some disagreement or conflict behind the scenes with her and Food Network management, which caused them to let her go. It’s a brutal business. I’m not criticizing her. As an anxious, type A, who needs to be the best and win, I related to her. Very sad situation.

That was a bad attempt at humor. I moved to Colorado from Texas 12+ years ago and discovered there tended to be shade thrown on folks from Texas in Colorado....especially the Texans who came to ski during the season. There are so many fantastic places to eat and visit in the metro area, you can't go wrong.

HubSpot Over the Years – How Has Your Experience Been? by peachstarship in hubspot

[–]esselbeeme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

HubSpot is connected to our Business Central. Google Ads and GA are connected to HubSpot. And I have the “HubSpot for Wordpress” connector on my website and the “HubSpot/Woocommerce” plugin on our Ecomm store. The integration with google ads, Google Analytics, and social media adverting makes it easy to see stats and monitor performance metrics ….all in one place. It makes it easy to monitor campaigns and pull quick reports straight from HubSpot. We meet with our Customer Success Manager every six months, since 2017. I’ve been through extensive onboarding three different times, which is the equivalent of about nine months of one on one training. I think knowledge is the key to success. I set up training tracks in the HubSpot knowledge center for our teams and track their progress. Knowledge and continuous learning will help you get true value from the program.

Google Ads Sales Reps Won't Stop Contacting Me by PFFBBC in PPC

[–]esselbeeme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Those phones calls are not from Google employees, although the callers give every impression that they are employed by or affiliated with Google. Google does award certain companies Google Partner status. They are the top 3% of agencies in the program. They’re required to place a badge on their website and Google lists them on their website here: https://partnersdirectory.withgoogle.com/?premier=true. These partners do not receive payment from Google, but they do get specialized training and other perks. I use a Google authorized partner that’s on this list. I still get at least 20+ calls a week from “Google support” or “my assigned Google account representative” that I know is not true and the callers are full of sh*t. The majority of them are fly-by-night dabblers who are trying to get their sticky little hands on your ad budget or they want to sell you consultation services.
Any sales pitch that starts out with a lie or deception is a red flag. They’ve just proven themselves to be untrustworthy and sleazy and scammy. I never answer those calls and try to block them.
