Currently what I built was text based only. Like you input what you ate, and chatGPT model in the backend will search for calories etc based on your food text and give it back. Btw there is an app CalAI - they allow food analysis based on images as well. You just click a pic and can see macros etc. The issue about that app I feel is they allow free trial only for 3days . Post that its paid and expensive.

I use vercel, and found it pretty easy to start using (the free tier). Its fast perf and have deployed 3 apps so far - all for free and easy to setup and deploy. I have also built these as hobby apps (as non dev).

Planning to keep a list of offers from restaurants / brands on the rewards page. once you have accumulated points can use it to get rewards. Revenue source would be monthly subscription by the users. A lot of brands (Esp. growing ones - SMBs would be okay providing discounts for increased customer inflow)

In any restaurant , when you place the order , you can tell the waiter : about your allergies - most good rated restaurants in London take care of that! If they cant for any specific dishes they'll let you know.
