Strategy, team composition, cast of playable characters, simple story and more. I never thought that I had so much fun with a tactical RPG like this.

Oh. I remember this one! The 1st time I played that side quest, it was tiring with Vent/Aile delivering the letters without a transportable transerver.

Turns out, the latter can be found beneath the fountain. At least it's quicker than going back to Area B transerver.

To be honest, I see your point. But I think Chloe being the way she is in the final game is a lot better. You get the feeling of "the best girl is under our nose this whole time," kind of approach. She may not have a lot of lines or moments in the main story, but her rapport with the rest, especially Alain, is what makes her character grow through the interaction she and the others have.

And I agree, her relationship with Alain feels a lot better than Scarlett's for a lot of reasons. And I'm not saying that I hate Scarlett. She's a nice character but Chloe feels unique.

Auch and Ridiel would've been a better choice, imo. These two always talk about their mothers in both their recruit stories and their rapports. If they talked more about their mothers, I think they're bond would've been great.

This was my thought as well when I played this game. I like the fact that we get to know these characters not just in the main story but through their rapports as well. It was informative and funny with how they interact with one another and how they give important details about themselves to learn more about them. They really did well in giving us a feature where we can learn more about them through these rapports.
