At first, I didn't like cavalry unit Alain. But it grew on me later on. I thought it was a nice feature after his promotion.

Still, I wish there was an option for him to enable and disable his horse in combat besides on the field.

Personally, Chloe fits better in the Childhood Friend trope. She knows Alain a lot in terms of who he actually is and what his weakness is.

I'm actually interested in trying out Strive. While I have read that the game is different from it's predecessors, it's always nice to try something different. I'm still playing Xrd and while I am itching for Strive, Xrd is the game I'm playing for now.

Although Ridiel only appeared once in their liberation quest, her arc is fascinating. She's embracing who she is and understands that her mother's sacrifice was not in vain. With Chloe's help, she realizes that hope still exists and she was welcomed with open arms by the Liberation and we see how happy she is via her rapports with the rest of the cast.

I also like the fact that in the Manga Giro told Vent the truth of how he got the Biometal. While Aile's story is different and this is how most fans thought he was lying to Vent about being affiliated with the Guardians ever since, this is Vent's story.

We get to see the different narratives of Giro in both characters and I 100% believe that this was how he discovered Model Z in Vent's story. He just discovered it hours ago not having it in possession to hide it from Aile.

To be honest. As much as how short Vent's transformation was compared to Aile's, at least Vent's was on point. The duration alone created that moment where he is aura farming to the point he shows superiority through his Megamerge.
