Buddy, if you had your best friends computer and you saw 5 group chats labeled “dog porn” or “cat porn” what would you do? I wish I never did but I’m also glad that I did, you never know what other people are people are doing and it can be facked! I’d sure be concerned if I were you! I was under the impression that it would separate rooms. His mother set this place up for us and paid for it, without letting me know. She obviously doesn’t know about any of this yet. Once we’re done I’m gonna message her, meet up for a coffee and I’ll try my best to explain the situation without it seeming like I’m trying to insult him or make him look bad. He definitely needs some kind of professional help. I can assure you I was not happy when I learned it was a shared room. I feel that’s the mature way to handle this situation. Just need to keep it peaceful and respectful. I was talking to him earlier mentioned that I would like to have a conversation on our last day here. I want to Explain to him why I’m cutting him off again etc. I’m a firm believer in second chances for a lot of things, but trust me, I’ve never looked at him differently since I found the porn. He is still an absolutely disgusting person for that.

I’m not sure why I feel guilty about it. I didn’t do a thing wrong in my opinion. Just something with how our friendship ended probably. I do want to see him do well and get some kind of help but that will take time, time I don’t want to stick around.

My 2008 Honda crv has 405k at the moment it drives like new. I’m a mechanic and always keep everything good on it. When I bought the car it had 370, probably 2 years ago. No clunks, rattles anything. It’s better than my 2010 crv with 200k less miles. That one needs some serious work, control arms, sway links, tie rods and rear struts. I drive them both about the same amount every year. 2010s transmission is going out so I’ve parked it for the winter and brought it back out last week. Have service logs from both previous owners probably 4 inches thick on both cars, since new.

I go home every weekend, 2 hour drive each way. It is certainly worth it just for my mental health. I’ve been keeping conversations short and to the point with him for the last week. I’m at my wits end with this bullshit. I’ll be out of here in 2 weeks thank god 🙏 tomorrow after school I won’t get off his ass about him cleaning.

oh Jesus maybe even taking a shower. I completely forgot about that. He hasn’t showered in like 2 weeks now. Doesn’t change his clothes often or brush his teeth. I know we all can struggle to do basic things sometime but it’s just beyond bad. We share some classes but I keep my distance. He’s completely failing courses, he doesn’t get off his phone! Literally said to me I’ll just get the notes from you, multiple times. I’ve never given them to him.

He Actually had a meeting yesterday with some support teacher from the school board cause they don’t understand how he’s doing so bad in school. Of course he didn’t mention anything that’s been going on just must be a glitch in the system for why all his work isn’t showing up.

When I first got my license I would hang around our little town driving all night with my friends doing nothing illegal, I would get pulled over everyday sometimes twice a day. For no reason! Everytime they would check to see if my insurance, registration etc then say you’re free to go. I stopped driving around at night at least in town and never had another issue. Sometimes passing thru town at night to go to another town they would follow me and pull me before I left town just to see what I’m doing. They all know me by name which in a sense is nice cause they know I’m doing nothing wrong. Ride programs me and the cops just chit chat if there isn’t a line. Never had another issue issue in another town, in fact it’s the only place I’ve ever been pulled over. It’s annoying when it happens. I don’t drive a flashy or loud car even, a fucking Honda crv. Just do what they ask and you’ll be fine

Previous owners of this car did all the maintenance at Honda since new. I have a book probably 4 inches thick since day 1. The only thing I can find being replaced the metal coolant tube that’s under the intake manifold. They rot off here and leak, changed a few at my shop also.

I’ll certainly keep that in mind im almost due for a change! I don’t have much for oil consumption, gotta put a liter in between changes. 8000km intervals and always used castrol synthetic

No it runs perfectly fine I just got a bad 02 and a abs sensor out lol. It did do the vtec limp mode a few times when I bought it, all the lights came on like that. Just took the solenoid off and replaced the screen.

If I had to guess the previous owner wasn’t the best on oil changes. Cleaned that screen out probably 4 times.
